Hi all

Just curious about q5 temperature. I thought mine really hot. If I hold it longer, I can felt it hotter than my ac ryan media player. Is it normal? Even for android phone, it's not that hot when I use it at along period.

No worry bro, I hv answered this question few times in this thread. It is normal for the Q5, I hv done the aging test for 10 hours, Q5 was running smoothly after 10 hours without any problem. The Q5 is by design to release the processor heat via the casing such that the processor could continue operate without problem. Some model in the market using plastic casing, the heat was unable to release which cause the player hang after long hours of operating.

Thank you for your explanation. If not, I already planning to buy usb cooler pad or fan. Now I 'll just leave it like that.

Thank you for inquiry. Pls find below answer for your question:

1). Yes, you can share your PC files to Q5. First of all you have to made your PC folder shared, secondly your wifi network no congestion. Pls check in the FAQ of this thread about how to share files from PC, question #10.

2). I presumed you have HDMI input in your TV, both audio and video will output to your TV screen and TV speaker. If you hv amplifier or Hifi with HDMI input, you can passthru the audio decoding to your amplifier.

Hope I answered your questions.
