For android phone, you could use HiControl to control the box but iphone is not possible due to IOS apps are controlled and managed by Apple, not all apps are allow in Apple Apps Store.

Have you tried to play 3D movie format file on Q16 QuadCore?
I tried to play some SBS 3D movie format, the built-in player still showing SBS screen, have you come across that?

Yes, I have tried it in dual core and quad core. Do you press the 3D button on remote and select SBS 3D?

Yeah, I press the 3D blue button on remote control, it pops up a 3D setup menu, I chose original mode, the screen still display SBS, which is indeed the movie original 3D format, when I chose SBS to 2D, the screen plays in normal display, then chose again "original mode", the screen switch back to SBS.

I thought there is some flaw in the movie file, I then downloaded THX, dolby and Sony 3D testing movie, the screen still shows SBS.

I suspect you phone resolution does not support. Please try on another phone and compare the resolution setting between your box and phone.

Entry level is H8 as per below link, sufficient if your purpose is for IPTV and online streamin, but not support HiControl.

Thank you very much for your help in sorting out my 3D movie playback problem on Himedia Q16 box last night.
It was late in the night, but you still patiently guided and explained to me where the problem was. I was greatly indebted to you.

Although the 3D movie playback not succeeded in my case, with the help and explanation from Nicety, I would like to
alert those people who own this box and wanted to playback 3D movie on a non-3D TV, it is not feasible at all. The bottleneck is on the TV itself, not the box, the box is good enough to output the 3D movie format however for a non-3D support LED/LCD TV, the TV itself doesn't understand the signal or it is blocked by itself internally, you won't be able to get a 3D superimposed image either from a SBS or TAB 3D format movie.

A last word, if you want to watch 3D movie output from Q16, go get a 3D capable TV. Don't be confused with those software decode output that you get from PC software like KMPlayer, even there is an android version KMPlayer, the developer can't make a 3D option as limited by the OpenGL version in Android.

Android Operating system is multi lingual, the OS language could be select in the setting.

If you install English app the menu and interface is English, if you install German app the menu and interface is German, if you install Chinese app the menu and interface will be Chinese.
