The latest model is X8H Plus from Minix.

As mentioned in this thread, we do not recommend to root the device because rooting basically open your Android device to the public, malware and and virus could easily modify your Android kernel and theft data from you. If you use the device correctly, rooting is not required.

3). Resolve CloudTV default player issue.

5). Fix 4K black screen problem.

The firmware 109 already uploaded in the Skydrive.

I think you did  the update via the Setting -> Update, please refresh the firmware via the Restore button to have complete new firmware update.

Just goto my skydrive, there is one document Firmware upgrade step by step guide. Follow the method B to do fresh upgrade.

Just uploaded new app in my skydrive under the sub folder "Free IPTV". Pleas read the Readme file before install, you could add M3U files easily without complex technical steps as Kodi.
