Goto My Apps, click and hold the app until the icon is movable then drop in the home page. Provided your home screen got sufficient space to drop.

Yes, you need the mouse for drag and drop.

with live tv, u get 460 national, provincial n city channels, of which 17 are cctv.

not all of them work, but if u have good broadband and a good router, u can easily get 100 of them smoothly, plus some movie/tv series channels in hitv in full hd.

How to get Live Tv with firmware 1.0.7?

Bro, the LiveTV APK file is in the Skydrive "com.tv.online-40200-v4.0.2.apk".

Since few customers missed the Mango Live TV (which actually a good stuff), I have tested other 3rd party good LiveTV Apps from China and saved in the Skydrive, pls download under subfolder APK Files -> China Live TV.

I interested to get a Android TV Box to replace my conventional Media Player that I bought on few years back.

Main Usage:
1) To watch HD from my NAS.
2) Streaming Kid videos from YouTube.

After some research and readings, i found this HiMedia Q5II that you offerring. Can you advise on my concern below of this product?

1) How do you handle warranty request? I from KL, and if something happen to the unit, may i know the process?
2) You mention about 30++ common apps will be pre-install by you, can you share the list and what are their purpose?
3) I believe Youtube will be install and working as the thread mention?
4) I know MangoTV covers all the China shows. Do you mind to share how can i watch Korean and TW show with the Andriod Box?
5) Does the browser in Q5II support Flash player? I like to visit sites with Flash videos...
6) Do you selling Air mouse or controller with Qwerty keyboard + touch pad?

Thank you for your inquiry. Your 3 requirement could be fulfill with Himedia box.

Pls find below my answer :

1). Just sent the unit to me, Himedia come with 12 month warranty. No warranty about the warranty, Himedia hardware is reliable, 99% of the problem are software issues not hardware problem which could be resolved by next firmware upgrade.

2). Most of the apps are streaming apps included PPS, PPTV, youku, YouTube, xBMC, QVOD, CloudTV, flash player, backup tools and etc.

3). YouTube works well with firmware 107.

4). There are plenty of apps work for Korean and TW dramas

5). Yes, flash player is available with the preinstalled browser by us

6). We stop selling air mouse except minix air mouse because most of the air mouse does not work with all 3 android buttons and power button.

need a little help here...

my unit is now running with only 2xx mb free storage.

1. deleted all unwanted apps at settings-apps
2. manually deleted some files using es file explorer in "flash" and "sd" folders.

but seem not to get more space back in storage. not sure if there are more unwanted files/folders hiding somewhere...?

can you advise where are the right places to delete "remnant" files?

each time i use App_Backup_Restore, i empty it onto usd drive, so it is empty.

I would like to suggest to get the storage cleaner apps to clean the space. Just go to Google play store, you could find few storage cleaner apps.

i installed avg cleaner, able to recover 1xx mb in the end.

can see that these cleaner apps basically remove caches and history.

do u know if they remove redudant or duplicate files n folders, backups, etc?

I believe there is such apps, need some time to search :-)

why when i on my q5ii it will not show the exact time and date when there is no internet? after i on my internet then only it will show the time on display... any setting i need to change?

There is no battery in the box, therefore every time you power off your box, the time reset back to 00:00:00.

After you connect to Internet, it will automatically sync with Time Server in the Internet and resumed to your time base on your time zone.
