is this the correct file, upgrade_dualcore_Q5_en.zip?

I downloaded 2 files: upgrade_dualcore_Q5.zip (265MB) and upgrade_dualcore_Q5_en.zip (47.8MB).

When i tried to upgrade using the upgrade_dualcore_Q5.zip file, i get "No upgrade package". But when i upgrade with upgrade_dualcore_Q5_en.zip, i can see progress updates....

Pls pm or email me your device info from Setting -> Device info, just to ensure you upgrade correctly.

would it because i'm trying to update from 1.0.5 to 1.0.7?

managed to upgrade to 1.0.7 but google play still crash even after installing the patch.

Live TV and HiTV apps are all gone?

I'm using ImgoTV to view some episodes of 综艺program. However, when the episode is played, i can see black borders around the screen....it can be maximized.

how do i maximized it? or at least 16:9 screen size?

Yes, I noticed smAll border for Mango TV movies, the border is different according to different TV. Unfortunately there is no setting in mangpTV to maximise the screen.

You can try adjusting your tv settings instead, like zoom or etc...

did you manage to get the screen maximize after changing your tv settings?

Mine is full screen. I forgotten whether I changed any settings or not.

Can we put the optional font like Arial Unicode into the Q5ii or Q6ii to be able to display the SSA Sub Title in Thai language, it shows perfectly once using Mxplayer but the output sound is only 2.0 not 5.1, I already installed codec version 7 but it 's still 2.0 output, many thanks.

recently i realized the apps that i've used to watch 综艺episodes such as Togic, VST, iQiyi (especially if the content provider is iQiyi/PPS) all failed to playback the episodes....even if the apps can playback, it will always hang/buffering very often.

no such issues if i watch movies/chinese dramas/live telecast channels.

anyone has such issues before? I'm sing 1.0.7 non EMMC firmware.

my experience is whether firmware 104, 105, 106 or 107, qiyi, youku and some others never work well. can't rely on them.

the most reliable are vqq and pptv within hitv, and standalone pptv and ppstv.

imgotv (mangotv) and live tv - a bit egdy - some very smooth, some lagging, depending on time of the day/night as well.

for improvement u can try using different dns and/or china proxy ip but that may render other apps like cloudtv and xbmc unworkable.

lastly, we know certain things are happening to some sites like qvod - wont work for some/long time...?

but overall, there is enough to watch, whether chinese or english, no complaints for now.
