Damage is done. This is wide spread enough. No more next time for me. The sms that I see, I only saw you (the victim/customer) said sorry. I can hardly feel that they're being apologetic at all. Worst case scenario they'll still blaming on you but due to this being brought to court, they've got no choice but to replace your unit.
