Original Waja engine tuning from Proton is heavy on FC. Go tune ur engine by good tuners.

My waja only RM0.16-0.17 per km, tuned long time ago, when i tune tat time the tuner person told me its a waste petrol tuning, after he tune, i got more power n save more petrol, coz using petrol efficiently.

Before tune - 60 liters = 600km
After tuning - 60 liters = 670km (currently at 630-640 need to tune again)

And one more thing, drive around 80-100kmph is the most save petrol for Waja, i hav tried many times. Step on the pedal lighly n Waja can drive at 90-100 no prob. If u step hard, ur tuning will run away n FC will go up higher. Try keep ur RPM below 3k, good for FC n good for engine reliablity. More than tat, u risk frying ur engine.

After all, its still a proton car. If u wan to hear alot more complains, i hav alot to type.

Sorry guys for the late reply. First, my uncles fren sold his tuner thingy and dun ever go to proton edar to tune.

Secondly, all Waja petrol tank is 60 liters (read the waja specs). When u refill of coz u dun reach 60 liters coz u cant finish ur petrol n go pump rite? Heres the formular I use to count for 60 liters how much my car can go.

60 liter petrol = RM1.92 x 60 = RM115.2 (Really from no petrol to full)
1 tank distance = 630km (my current car usage)
$ per km = 115.2 / 630 = RM0.18++ (0.17 when my tuning is better last time)

Now i'll teach u how to get ur cars 60liter km usage. Example u pump ur petrol when the lamp is on n u hav travel lets say 500km n pump 50 liters of petrol

50 liters = 500km
60 liters = w km

so 500 x 60 = 50 x w (remember ur form 4/5 maths?)
end is w = 500 x 60 / 50 = 600km (for 60 liter petrol)

Lastly, yes i can go 600+ in city driving (used to), since my tuning alr out abit i pump my petrol when i hit 570km or so. The waja low petrol lamp hits when u hav around 100-150km worth of petrol left. How to know how much petrol? Easy, 60 liters minus the petrol u pump in till full tank n u know how to count how many more kms u can run b4 reaching 0 liter.

PS Stepping hard means hitting high RPM not high speed, at 3k rpm its around 110kmph alr, do not hit more than 3k rpm b4 u reach 110kmph coz it'll increase ur petrol consumption. I mostly switch gears around 2.5k rpm n yes i m driving an auto gear box and there is a way to do gear switching for waja auto.

i reach before 100km/h witout hitting 3k rpm.. going to reach 3k rpm la ... but mine is mitsu engine dunu bout campro ...

Went to SC yesterday to checked my 1.6A gear shifthing...It revvs long and high before shifting gear...The guy said my gear ratio error...he put the setting thingy and reset...Now feel ok already la...but was charged RM63 + 5% tax...is this normal?From what someone said before its just Rm30?
