anyone interested to get the engine cover sprayed ?

i got annoyed with the crazy charges set by Proton SC..upon the expiry of my car warranty period (last time Waja car warranty only 2 years or 100,000km), I immediately service my car at the normal service centers...boy,the charges are so much cheaper and customer service is even better than Proton SC especially the one in Glemnarie..

i tought only proton service centre only can do tuning for ecu...becoz only Proton and EON got the tool.

you must get the source of the noise? is it coming from the back? if it's from the back there is 2 metal bar touching. open your boot and check the 2 bars near the cdchanger. I put a hard sponge in between the bars and there was no more sound from the back


my mechanic have third party reader as well to connect and read the sensors. i don't think it's limited to proton only.

erm, wah.. so many suggestion and comment.. lol..
but still now my waja not ok lor.. i dun like the current setting lor.. make me kind da hate lor..dunno how to explain la.. i prefer stock setting lor.. smoother..

my waja also 2002 batch.. not really have problem la..
just is true la.. all power window died and only left the driver window because every day of using...but i believe also soon will die and drilling holes on my pocket wan.. then the absorber all also died..
now.. i think engine mounting soon will died also..

normally change engine oil, and change oil filter every 70k..

just change my car battery.. RM 180 !!!

because change battery.. my brother said the ECU setting gone crazy..
then send back to the same mech.. he said no problem..
haiz.. dunno wat to say la..

i really need some help here..
need some suggestion and introduction to some really can work workshop and cheap price included.. hehe

need to reset the ECU.. and check engine mounting or some car service..

u can drive ur car 1 week then the ECU will become ok already .

70k or 7k? semi syn should be change 7-8k, and full-synt at 10k. can't image what will happen to your car if you really change at 70,000 interval

are the ECU is computer generated of it just using screw dreba to tune it..ermm..my father had tune his VOLVO for just RM25 by using a single screw driver....ermm..cud any1 explain dis situation...

regarding airfilters, i've heard people talk about KnN drop in air filters.
just put inside the box and thats it. and waja 1.6 auto would suck even worst if they were to use open pod airfilter?

aiks.. >< 7k, every 7000km i change my engine oil, 14000 my oil filter, last time i used to go to the taman megah there and service my car wan.. but my dad dont like the bill.. 1 time bill is RM 200 to 300 but is sure no problem wan.. change engine oil, oil filter, check brake, gear box all la.. sure no problem when service there wan.. but he don like the figures, so he force me not to go there... i dun care already, what happen is he said the mech is same wan, so ok la.. not i paying ma.. where service not my problem la.. give that guy service.. only change engine oil, and oil filter others no touch.. see also no see even a sight.. wth.. nvrmd la.. got problem i tell him la.. everyday i complain.. so change that part only.. say 1 part change 1 part.. total 1 service RM 400 plus.. padan muka la.. say 1 part change 1 part.. last time service 1 time.. can go until 8k smooth smooth.. change gear cant feel any g force.. now?? lots of g force.. and need to wait.. normal rev till 2000 will change... now?? 2500++ only 1 gear..
hope i can get a better mech to big service 1 time then always go there edi..

Added on February 18, 2007, 11:31 pmerm.. no lor.. drive normally after change the battery about two week also got the problem lor.. erm.. i think really need to reset the ecu like maddriver say lor..erm.. i dunno the details la.. i really dunno anything about car wan lor.. u ask me also computer i ok ok la.. about car..

I'm not driving a Waja, but no, you dont tune your ECU with a screwdriver. I cleared my ABS error in the ECU using some kind of electronic gadget which I was charged for RM25 in SS2 area.

hohoh..lyk dat...dun noe dat proton waja ECU is electronicly controlled...

BTW haven't see any waja using computer box on their vehicle....

I dont know if it's tune, he's just trying to clear my error in ECU. His electronic gadget got all types of car inside. He'll plug his device into your car and select ur car model. From there, he do the setting.

Anyway for location, do you know Menara Merais at 19? Opposite Lisa de Inn hotel.. at Bulatan Rothman.. the shop is somewhere there, corner lot shophouse. Anyway I think this thing is widely available.
