yup, there got 2 hole there... i also wan to take off it before but after that i just leave it then i paint the emblem as the colour of my car.. look nothing there after paint it... look good also

i know you've gotta change the gasket, spark plugs, and the usual m-oil + oil filter. anything else for the 20k service?

I managed to remove the entire headlamp assembly. (left side)

2 screws on the top.
1 on the body. (left)
1 behind the front grill. ( right)

My car kinda vibrating when the gear is in D while the car is not moving and from what i read from posts by the experts here, it's the engine mounting problem. Therefore I'm going to the workshop and change the engine mounting tomorrow. I hope it's gonna solve my car's vibrating problem.. So, i heard the engine mounting, 4 of them, original cost about RM380, is that right?

how old is ur car? mine was 4 yrs old when i changed the top, driver's side mounting (near the power steering fluid reservoir). my mechanic said that particular mounting is very prone to damage. was nice after the change (RM120) and no more rattling of the dashboard during acceleration. but now (after 6 months), the vibration is coming back although only when the car is stationary in Drive, i am thinking of changing the remaining 3 mountings. should have done so on the 1st time...now should i change 3 or 4? RM380 for 4 is about right...

Check your door sensor. Last time i found it was on my driver side door, then i took it to proton service center and they fix it for me free Previously i stick a paper on it for temporary, it works too

guys. i have two major setback with my new waja.

1. when i drive in D and the slowly speed down. I have the rev 'gear change'. I dont encounter this in my previous waja (soch 1.6)

2. the aircond when I out to low, a smelly 'hapak' smell come out.

my boot sensor was messed up. Brought to service center and they replaced it for free. But cmon la....like this also can happen ..argh!!!

Just found out my air cond smells like ( dunu how to describe but the smell is awful) whenever i turn on de aircond in the morning .... any1 know whats the problem with that ?

mine is when i set the aircond to low.

open the engine bay see got dead animals or not..lol hapak maybe coz of water?

went for checking .. they say nth wrong also ... then where the smell come from

I use coolant only. never use water.

My previous waja also like that. Sometime got sometimes dont have. I think if still have, must find aircond specialist.

erm.. noob in car here..
last week my car just change the engine oil in regular mech shop i go,
i realize that the rpm meter, how to say ar..
before changing, normal start engine early morning is 1200-1500 then wait 2 minute will go down to 600.
after change engine oil.. start 1500 +-, then wait 5 minute also only go down till 1000+- just wandering wat is the problem ??
then today i realize that my battery soon died.. the battery have color wan.. green, black and white spot??
so i go change today, ok fine.. RM 180 gone jsut for the battery, then when i take back my car, i start engine... 1500 then wait drop to 800, ok nvrmd i go back home.. then i realize that.. hmm.. normally, i am a light footed driver.. max rpm to my home from my dad shop is 2000 for speed before 70km/h.. [1 gear 2000 2gear 2000 3 gear 2000 4 gear 2000 or below.. that is normally i drive..]
after changing the battery, 1 gear 2000 2 gear 2600+- then 3 gear 2500, 4 gear 3000.. why like that... ?? i dunno wat happen..
my brother say mayb the ECU setting all gone.. need to reset..
really change car battery will reset the original waja[totally stock waja] ECU setting?? erm.. do waja have ECU ??
ok if is really ECU problem, where can i reset it?? expensive??
