depends whether it's delivered to your door step or what, can range from 20-30km to few hundred. Sometimes they drive between states if just deliver 1 car.

My Proton Persona was 11KM, collected from showroom. If you asked for full tank petrol for free, the mileage will be slightly higher for sure.

One thing you'd wonder about if new cars have to be driven from state to state is that how was it driven by the driver? Definitely very worrying. sad.gif

So simple procedure, if that's the case can I say many people can easily do that to make sure no mileage reading after certain mileage clocked?

Supposed to be - 0km
but usually will have a bit mileage due to making car license plate, or tint, or pump fuel, etc. As long below 50km should be fair.

You still have to drive that Mercedes up the lorry rump or out of the factory. So can never be zero.

Owh i din know that Proton have such service. I got my Saga FLX by walking to the showroom from my office, its just a 10 minutes walk. Nothing beat the feeling of getting my new car. I got 30+km on first day which is acceptable because the car was transfered from Bintulu to Kuching, i dont know why as long the mileage is under 50km. laugh.gif

There is a Volkswagen car tower thingy that stores like 600 cars or something. It's a showroom where all the new cars will be placed. The cars are all delivered via conveyor belts to these towers, and then stored in the tower slots robotically so no need to drive it up and down ramps, so the only time the wheels were moving was at the rolling road back at the factory. Same goes for delivering I think, just place it on the back of a lorry using robots.

We don't have that here. They only have that back at their homeland, Germany.
