QUOTE(mengsuan @ Nov 21 2012, 04:46 PM) This morning, we just saw a new Persona (manual transmission) knocking in the workshop. It was kind of impossible to believe since these car comes with knock sensor. Are you using AT or MT? We notice only the MT cars have knocking issue even on first gear. If you're interested with the thermostat, we can meet up as part of Persona Club gathering. I can demonstrate the difference with the original thermostat with a glass of hot water. It is not commercially available, it is custom molded by Campro enthusiasts. We will be glad to have people testing it. How much for the new thermostat? Original from proton or other brand?

QUOTE(durianhead @ Nov 27 2012, 04:55 PM) I'm currently using the stock size, 195/60R15 I'm not really familiar with tyres in general . It'll be good if the tyre is less than rm250. I'm only planning to change 2 of the tyres as one of it has a crack. What is your definition of fun? Haha. I'm just using the car for normal driving on highway, not racing or drifting or anything. P.S. I just recently skidded on the way back from Nilai to Shah Alam at one of the turnings connecting back to the KLIA road. In my opinion, I don't think I was speeding and this has never happened to me before. Although the road was wet as it had just finished raining. Edit: My friend recommended me Michelin, although I'm not sure which type nor size. Just wanted to gather more opinions from other people. Michelin XM2 i think RM 250 above for stock size, Yokohama C-Drive 2 RM 225 at PJ Hup Sun, CC5 RM 235 above i think.

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Nov 29 2012, 04:08 PM) not sure I'd probably be spending my money on GC, VS and headlamps, just want to know if everyone here has one and has any notable changes. I have GC and VS on my IAFM Persona Manual.

QUOTE(jasontantenghuat @ Dec 3 2012, 10:11 AM) The guy said is the wiring not connected properly. Then yesterday I took to outside mechanic, he said the problem is the whole wiper unit and not connection. Meaning the Proton SC just did some temporary fix (but didn't charge). My service due soon so can go bising. Wiper unit is under warranty? If it is, I think will ask them change the whole unit. the wiper no warranty but the motor and the connection should be cover under warranty
