well.. after a few tries and you can put it on, better wear glasses for that day because you eye will tears a lot and swollen. Wait till your eye relaxed then try again.

Not much skill needed actually, hold it with 1 finger, use the other hand to spread your eye open a lil, slide it in either from upwards or downwards, this will overcome when you say that your eye is smaller. smile.gif

I used to wear contact lenses alot. biggrin.gif Now no more. thumbup.gif

Optician charges for teaching you how to put in contact lenses? Isn't this illegal? I mean opticians are supposedly responsible for teaching the proper use of contact lenses.

it takes practice. after some time, you will get used to it and wouldn't even blink when putting them on.

i remember taking 45mins per eye to get them in the 1st time. best thing was i was in the optical shop doing it while the sales girl was teaching me. lol. took 5mins to take out after that. now take less than 2 min to put both sides in, including spraying with solution to remove shit from it so won't irritate eyes.

i hardly wear contact lens now. used to wear them everyday when i go to school. then got lazy putting them on in the mornings. have to be fully awake for 10-15mins before putting them on or they will sting, no idea why. anybody experienced this and can explain? now i only wear for sports or when i feel like it when i go out.

Just use your pointer finger and thumb.

Thumb-pull down lower lid
Pointer finger-Upper lid.

U mentioned sumthing bout ur eyebrow? Haha...I don't think it has anything to do with ur eyebrows.

Juz keep trying.

Once u get the hang of it, u'll juz pop it in in a split second. Good luck

I used to wear contacts also but I stopped after a few months and revert back to my good old glasses. Had a few minor accidents which was kinda freaky so I decided to stop using it

same type here biggrin.gif .......if u care about looks, better wear con. lens... then when u at home take it off and wear your spec...let your eyes get more o2.... WEAR SPEC' IF YOU HAVE A GREAT FACE STRUCTURE...SOME PPL LOOKS GREAT WEARING IT ON. you know, like Lil' Jon, Sean Paul...hahaha....

don wear it for a long period...(longer than recommendation of ur contact lens)...
cos ur eyes will pop out those "red line" and make you looks like a drug addict...
get mistaken by my teacher b4..

rolleyes.gif erm... first opne yours eyes big big lar shocking.gif
then... when you wanna put in the lens, try not to focus on the lens, look far...
focus on the mirror or anything else, just try not to look at the lens... then slot in the lens... walla!
that's how I get over the problem

most ppl feel very *geli* at the thought of touching their eyes.. I was like that too initially but after lots of practice, its normal. Been wearing contacts for about 4 years already.

the trick is you must slowly put the lens inside your eyes.

just put it about 5 mm from ur eye then slowly move both lens n ur eye.

normally ill put 1 drop of solution inside the lens first to make it more comfortable.
