1st Step
opkg update

2nd Step
opkg install chat comgt kmod-usb-acm kmod-usb-serial kmod-usb-serial-option kmod-usb-uhci libusb luci-proto-3g mini-sendmail usb-modeswitch usb-modeswitch-data kmod-usb2 kmod-usb-ohci kmod-usb-serial-wwan

5) Reboot And Login
6) Go To Network>Interface>Edit WAN
7) Switch Protocol And Choose UMTS/GORS/EV-DO and Fill-up APN & Others.
8) Setting WIFI ETC and Reboot Again
9) Use

yea is much faster to use putty to SSH to your router and make your router update all the packages,..

between open wrt and official firmware...
what the different?
any good using open wrt as i see more complicated to set up

openwrt is setup complicated a bit, using it it is better, because response of it faster than official firmware,..

and it is a DIY firmware, u add what u need into it,.

official firmware is a fixed firmware, V1~V1.3 version is laggy while V2 firmware is quite responsive fast as well,. notworthy.gif

nope, it is impossible, since not support by the router,.

it only show color signal bar & % in V1 and V1.3 ,

in V2, no color signal bar only %

now i reverse my setup

Panel antenna -> CRC9 -> Maxis set E372 ( handicap added heatsink open cover ) -> V2 -> lan out -> V1 -> lan out to laptop

result is everything really stable thumbup.gif

the signal strength seems not so accurate as I could get better speed at 40% compare to 60% rclxub.gif
