i am using V2 to dial zte mf680 and lan out to V1 openwrt ( DHCP with auto ping command ) &

V1 dial zte mf680 and lan out to V2 stock 
my both way setup is fine though,..

here my V1 pinger in system log

my ZTE MF680 already wrongly flash to swedish firmware under 3 last time so no more purple LED, only blue Led all the way 

make sure the lan cable plug in yellow lan port in first router

and plug lan cable in blue lan port in second router

then u go to second router GUI  sign in

and select DHCP Protocol ( in openwrt ) or Wan only ( in stock firmware )

then open another Tab window sign in first router Gui,

due to V1 = 192.168.1.1 & V2 = 192.168.0.1 then both can combine 

Why the gear(2nd from left) and the wifi LED keep blinking for like one second interval?
And what is for the gear LED to indicate?

any different on consistency , speed wise ? 

I am still surveying those dual antenna port modem.

Anyway, how was the speed 320U vs MF680 in your case

You plug to the first.
Unplug
Plug to the second to see any difference

Some modem do allocate one antenna to 3G another to LTE

this router is able to connect 5 user at same time without any issue

using a DC-HSPA+ device because due to the MDM8220 chipset is better chipset compare to other HSPA+ chipset,

it is not main about the speed, it is also about the signal,

and using a DC-HSPA+ device connect to Dual channel broadcast tower/base station, u able to get 2 channel

meaning whatever DL & UL speed u are getting x 2 time ,. if u are getting 2~4Mbps, u might have chances to get 2~4Mbps x2  with DC-HSPA+ enable device 

when upload speed is higher = your ping eventually will be lower too

if that tower/ base station u are connect support DC-HSPA+/broadcasting 2 channel instead of single channel..

DC-HSPA+ is not 42Mbps .. dont get confuse on this ya
