Yes else the Firewall will false detect the loop ping as SSYN flood doh.gif

This router too secure rclxub.gif

Anyway TS please pin this on first post
*
SSYN disable also cant get thru?
Need to use direct with modem, then auto ping will work.
Later want to try disable all others security and try again.

Maybe Chuah can test? V1 (openwrt) Run Auto ping Connect to Stock V2.

my ZTE MF680 already wrongly flash to swedish firmware under 3 last time so no more purple LED, only blue Led all the way  biggrin.gif

make sure the lan cable plug in yellow lan port in first router

and plug lan cable in blue lan port in second router

then u go to second router GUI  sign in

and select DHCP Protocol ( in openwrt ) or Wan only ( in stock firmware )

then open another Tab window sign in first router Gui,

due to V1 = 192.168.1.1 & V2 = 192.168.0.1 then both can combine  notworthy.gif

Whenever i change or select DHCP setting (Disable/Enable etc) , the router will become softbrick...

any different on consistency , speed wise ?  hmm.gif
*
Speed same. 7 - 9Mbps
IDM = Max 1.2MBps (MF680 1.1MBps)

Dialer a bit late compare to MF680.

consistency = Still tested. Will update Later.

I am still surveying those dual antenna port modem.

Do you have any difference port 1 vs port 2

Anyway, how was the speed 320U vs MF680 in your case
*
For this moment only using 1st port of the external antenna as i dont have any 2nd antenna except Yagi but i dont know where to point yagi direct to the tower cause cant see from my house. Also not yet tested with 2nd port.

For consistency much better than MF680. Less Scrambled (Skybox) compare to MF680.

Speed its still remain same.Improve IDM download straight away start 900Kbps++

Thats a good sign biggrin.gif

Since your 320U got 2 antenna port

You plug to the first.
Unplug
Plug to the second to see any difference hmm.gif

Some modem do allocate one antenna to 3G another to LTE
*
Tested, speed same. seems my place didnt have LTE...

this router is able to connect 5 user at same time without any issue

using a DC-HSPA+ device because due to the MDM8220 chipset is better chipset compare to other HSPA+ chipset,

it is not main about the speed, it is also about the signal,

and using a DC-HSPA+ device connect to Dual channel broadcast tower/base station, u able to get 2 channel

meaning whatever DL & UL speed u are getting x 2 time ,. if u are getting 2~4Mbps, u might have chances to get 2~4Mbps x2  with DC-HSPA+ enable device

when upload speed is higher = your ping eventually will be lower too

if that tower/ base station u are connect support DC-HSPA+/broadcasting 2 channel instead of single channel..

DC-HSPA+ is not 42Mbps .. dont get confuse on this ya  notworthy.gif
*
My upload never reach 2Mbps.. Max 1Mbps, but its hard to get 1MBps,,
