215/45R17, currently using falken 522 and not satisfy made me slip 2times... plan to change if price close to falken 522

directional 5 not sure, however eagle f1 AS2 definitely more expensive; it is good year's flagship tires after all rofl

GT Radial Champiro HPY - last reported price was RM320 Quicksave (Aug 12)
Hankook V12 - You will have to call and ask around but my guess its cheaper than Goodyear

As for the prices quoted by shinjo above, its just a guide. Certain Shops at Sunway / Klang might give you a slightly better deal.

What is your Budget btw?

directional 5 any good review?

I'm using it now, already a few months.
Dry & wet grip is pretty good, have even tried taking some sweepers on the highway during rain at around 110kph and still feels planted. Comfort also ok. The main weakness is a bit noisy.

I'm using 215/50/17 @ front & 245/45/17 @ rear.
Cannot remember exactly how much but around low 400 for the front.

falken522 only rm255/donut

in the end i got ps3 for 480/donut

im using directional 5. only for the front 2
size is 195/55/15
dry and wet both is super good


i agree. all directional tyre is a bit noisy compare with symmetrical line

falken 522 is cheap tire suit for normal drive...

u want performance tire which better grip on wet road..

which is surely more expensive than cheapo 522 plus ur tire spec is 215/45R17

at least falken Azenis Series...FK453, PT722 - price raound RM4xx ++ /piece

actually if u really hv tight bugdet falken ze ziex 912 or Hankook Ventus V12 Evo (RM275 ~ RM360) is wise choice...never ever buy 522 and below if u demand wet grip...
