This media player dont have internal hdd attached?
Can it detect subtitles automatically ?
If my movie files is kept in my macbook, can it wifi streaming to my tv if the device is connected with tv analog cable?
Can i watch pps and pptv? Do i need to setup proxy or u can assist?

at first i shortlisted this media player but seems like many troubleshooting and firmware issues complaints by you guys about playback of HD movies and lagging. XBMC problems which is aliens to me.

i really don't need anything that requires me to go Deep Space or another new frontier. Life is a bit of a mess for me right now .

may i ask, how's your frustration or experience with this brand. if it's good, i like to consider getting a trouble free media player.

Is there any instructions to do firmware upgrade for q6 ? I cant find any infos on q6 II in hi media website.
Can i drag my media player to your shop for this service upgrade if it requires technical rooting? Tq

What is samba ? Or what can samba do in a himedia player? Can someone help to explain this software. I have google the word samba and it seems like a software for networking purposes, am incorrect? So what does samba have to do with media player like hi media? What features is this? Tq

HiMedia has a RJ45 lan network isn't it? It still can share among the windows networking computers if its connect to a network hub.

So , do you mean Samba is like a wifi sharing among PC users which is seamless networking without using any lan cable? is my understanding correct about this thing?thank yangxi
