Does it follow the manga? What about Rozen Maiden Traumend? Is Traumend a filler or what? The stories seems mess up. At one point it feels like a recap and at another point it feel like sequel without Traumend. This is so mess up.

fateful remake with the manga,so pretty everything on the anime doesn't count, even Traumend doesn't count.
The previous Rozen Maiden animes were made very early when the manga was being written, so after a few episodes they changed to an original story (because they didn't have any more material to work with, but had to give the anime an ending).
So basically this is an all-new anime where you don't need to watch the other seasons because they don't follow up..
Also, liking this older Jun. C: (By the way, I didn't read the manga, so I'm very curious what the story will be like this time)
1st episode seem like summary previous Rozen Maiden series, at 1st was confuse when jun circle wind, 2st episode follows the manga where jun circle do not wind.

Still you need to watch first season, since their are still connection between both Jun
New rozen maiden ended... Time to wait for the next season
The final episode should have ended at the halfway point rather than going fast forward and skipping a lot of parts just to tease the fans. Also, considering the amount of DVD/BD sales, the next season is unlikely to happen and DEEN probably won't continue it. A shame really as this series was a joy to watch as I liked the art direction though it could have gotten a better pacing.
If another company were to pick up this series after DEEN, I would prefer if it was a reboot that is closer to the source material like FMA: Brotherhood though I won't mind it starting right after where Zurückspulen ends as long as I don't get another super-condensed recap episode.
