Anyone playing in RP-PVP servers?
I'm currently playing in Emerald Dream.
Interested in roleplaying and pvp at the same time than RP PVE only

So, dude, what's RP server all about lar, I never understood what goes on inside...

RP servers are weird man, need wat sidestory de and wat is ur mission in dat server :S

Just ro roleplay as a real character in the game...
Imagine your own story and talk and share with other people about ur adventures lor..

Ummm....no. So, u mean i gotta have a past and all that, where i'm headed and my lifes goal to defeat Greenass the orc, who killed my family when i was young....and all that kinda stuff...wow...COOL!!!

In addition, on RP servers, you have to remain in-character all the time.

That means no spamming the chat channel about about real life stuff.

Hmm...sounds interesting....might roll one when i hit 60 on my other server...wats the diff with RP and PVE? i'm blur....wat new storyline?
and by saying no RL general chat means i'm suppose to act like my race? gutterspeak all the way..lol

there's no new official storyline la. only the one you create yourself in your head. some guilds also create their own story line, history and so forth.

Yea, it would be good if you gutter speak. hahaha.

I've seen some night elfs speak elven and i was like wtf .. Not speaking darnassian language but really Elven Language like LOTR Legolas speaking with other Elven ppl. Those are elven language, my bro studied about them . Freaky eh.

but when you are talking real life stuff, you have to tag it with something. So that ppl will understand you. It's somewhere in the forum in role playing.

fmo it would be really sweet for roleplaying that there is no such thing as faction. lets take example, as fr my understanding i believe warlock are really hated by not just the alliance the horde as well. I mean it would be sweet that both warlock fr horde and alliance could party up and do stuff. It would be quite kool a shammy and pally party up and do instance. lol .. That would be much more role playing ..

RP servers are cool if you just want to chill out in the game, less population and usually less retards.

I have done lots of paper-pencil RPG but it never attracted me in a video game, typing just do not make it "interesting" for me.

About the Elves languages from LotR, AFAIK Tolkien was at the beginning a linguist so no surprise he created his own full languages inside the books. This also explains a bit more all the chanting and poetry inside the books

Some months back when Blizzard had several normal realms crashing due to server issues, we all ran into RP servers and spamming general chat with "RP is gay lololol" or "How to cyber in Taurahe".
