Hey guys i kinda new to WoW just wanna ask.. I know we need previous expansions to play. I Planning to start with battl chest thn slowly climb up to a certain lvl thn buy the next expansion for it.. What i wanna ask is if i don't buy the newest expansion yet (Eg: MOP) will i be able to access the new maps/dungeons??

No, you cannot access the new maps and dungeon if you have not bought the expansion.

If you are new to WoW, you might want to consider joining WoW Taiwan version first. If the community doesn't fit you, you are free to buy the US/EU retail version which would cost you at least RM 200 for battlechest and expasion. After all, the start up cost to play WoW Taiwan is only RM 15 (cheapest, with 30 hours game time) with purchase of the game unnecessary.

Wow Taiwan is going to be boring , unless you are with your guild. PUG raids are going to be hard , because it would be hard to find someone who speaks English , so basically you would be with your guild and plus you'll miss awesome jokes in trade chat.

If you buy battle chest , you can play panda except monk , you cacn even try out the remakes of new dungeons and enjoy cross-realm zones and things like that. What limits you is that you can't visit other worlds (they need expansion)

Anyhow go try WoW TW , see if you like or not , if you don't like zepx pointed out , move back to WoW US
