 ipod nano probs

i'm new bout this ipod things
and recently i got myself an ipo nano 4gb.
try to transfer files for the 1st time but suddenly
the screen shows some error sign and then said
www.ipod.com/support/ipod
so i download the latest ipod updates and try to uptade my nano
but suddenly its said some kind of disk error.
right after tat my ipod turned off. i tried to connect it to an adapter charger but nuthing happen
any comments?

Have you tried reformating your ipod? And keep in mind you must install the software b4 plugging in the ipod.

send for warranty is better
if you want to transfer song to your mac you can use 'ipod rip ' to copy your song

Send it to an authorised Apple Store and they'll help you sort all that out... I think there is something wrong with the hardware itself... hmm.gif
