Change four tyres today and together bal & alignment but the car driving on straight road i need to counter right as if i hold the steering straight it will steer left . Saw the aligment reading was showing camber L: -0.17 R: -0.42 toe was adjust to 0 but why will like this , the person said cause my camber run . True ka The guy say my current camber will cause the car to move to left and advise me if wan to corrent need to use the nut , from what i see is very minimal , need to change ? Previously also if let the steering go the car will start to move left immediately and need to hold the steering to the right to move straight Car : Exora Milleage : 37k+ Year : 2009 This post has been edited by wilsonjack228: Nov 17 2012, 10:12 PM

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Nov 17 2012, 09:47 PM) Most probably the technician did not center your steering wheel properly when doing the alignment. This mistake often happens when doing wheel alignment. That camber difference should not impact the steering too much as you described. Your technician most likely just trying to make more money from selling the camber nut to you. I was looking at the steps he taken , He turn the steering left right quite a few times before centering it and locking it so shouldn't be , he only say that the current camber will make the car move to left most of the time . But the reading is less than 1' how could it be , very minimal effect wouldn't it be ? I always check on my tire wear , seems to be equal on all previous tyres which done about 37K. well after I came back to complain about the steering not straight , the boss (i think) insisted its my camber but one of its service guy kind enough to take it for a spin then came back adjust both tie road without using the machine and say its all he can do . Well he did what he could so , i take his word all tried it . it is better than before but still not 100% straight , still need to turn abit to the right to move straight and the car tends to drift to the left after u let go ... thinking of maybe find a manual alignment shop to do it later any suggestion perhaps ?
