most important thing is to familiarized with all the functionality and post questions if you needed help.

There is a piece of warranty card very small in the box he will ask u write your name and number.  He suppose to submit as dealer behalf of you later samsung will sms u saying your warranty is validated already. If after 1 to 2 weeks no news can contact fallen to help register

Kies is Samsung's program to backup and update all the essential goodies for your phone!!

Like itunes and nokia suite but for android samsung they using a software they call it kies. Ota update sometimes slow so safer use kies to back up and check for updates
Screen size on note 2 is amazing but sharpness and clarity can't beat iphone retina display and nokia clear black display

any recommended blacklist app? wanna block some stupid phone calls

Use the phone blocking mode. Why need pay extra?

Nothing worry can turn.on later or use kies. Next to try the audio playback of wolfson audio chip with an earphone or headset make sure audio is high bitrate

Loose cable check on the spot. I did that when i bought mine. The hissing issue... fingers cross lor. 

Loose cable is quite okay with me as long as it doesn't disconnected or fall off by itself on a slight touch...lolz

told u so is better u use it then decide whether to buy an additional charger for some u dont even need

There's nothing wrong if you use other chargers (S2..Ace or S). Only problem is it gonna take much longer to charge compared with Note2 original charger as the output different (2A).
Both the loose cable and hissing sound is not normal though many user choose to just ignore it.
Totally up to you whether you want to change the charger set at service centre. If no stock then it maybe take
some time for you to get a replacement charger.

anyone here can see crack (hairline) at the edges of the device ?
i spotted mine with 2 cracks on the edges

Not so sure. My unit all connection tight. For me as long as not goyang-goyang can already.

If it is bad they would have recall 3millions charger worldwide. It depends if u are annoy if not u don't even notice the sound is there

Nothing wrong if you want to buy a car charger or a spare charger to use in the office. I have one at my workplace. Better have one..just in case you want to do some heavy browsing or downloading via phone.
Long term effect on hissing sound..maybe yes..maybe no effect at all..nobody knows yet..i think.

You get a replacement set from service centre..not from the phone shop. Once you step out from that shop..their obligation to your phone closed. Continued by service centre (SME)...lolz

No does not effect.  Works fine with me some more constant charging

My charger literally exploded last week. Seriously, sparks coming out and bang. Whole charger and the socket turned black from smoke. Tripped the circuit breaker for the whole house. Both the charger and the particular socket in the house kaput. Luckily my Note 2 is not affected at all.
So pissed straight away I went to SME service center (I forgot to take picture of the burned charger), got replacement for both charger and usb cable.

I don't any problem with hissing sound when charging.. btw rite now I always changing battery thro desktop charger. Got extra battery when buy genuine extra battery kit. Huhu
