TWbased rom always big big one. A few can get a bit lighter without Samsung bloatwarez. If you want small and light..get an AOSP/AOKP rom. 

Anyone tried paranoidandriod ROM before?

If you are new to android I suggest you stick to stock rom. I can tell you this phone stock rom is the best rom unlike other Samsung phones
I have tested most of the custom Rom n seriously I still go back to stock rom
If you do not want touchwiz ui just replace it with other launcher eg Nova launcher. The Samsung spen n other default Samsung features will still be there. Only you wont have Samsung proprietary Widgets available

Thanks for your suggestion. I used to pure Google vanilla. That's why I don't feel like sticking to TouchWiz. The contact, messaging and so on are not as user friendly as I thought.

For example the messaging, I want to have delivery report. The way it notify me totally different from my nexus s.

IMHO, PA is suitable to play on screens 7" and larger. I feel there's no point to mucking about with Phablet/Tablet mode on a screen of our size.

On a 7" device, it makes a difference coz you can force the app to increase the display area significantly. I have a 7" device and I forced Nova launcher to enable tablet mode for more icons. If you did this on 5.5", you will get a very cramped screen and tiny icons.

AOSP/KP roms are seriously lacking in features compared to stock rom. Apart from being light, they dun really have the speed advantage for our device. Plus they still have bugs since its new.

well, now that after i install the Addon Detector, those ads are still pop up, but now become very less already.

previously was like 10-20 times per day, now 2-3 times per day.

anyway, i still dont understand how to use the app 

do i need to scan everytime after i install new app?

and the addons > filter > submit, also dont understand how it works

I'm still on omega v4 and happy so far. A little tired to get into flashoholism.

Others have recommended monxdified, which will be next on my list when I get to it.
