Hi all. Plan to book a Almera. Undecided on e spec or v spec. Difference of 7k. Is it worth it? My concern is the airbag and fog lamp. Can take e spec and add airbag? How much cost? Any recommendation for optional item to take? The SA said give me free Navi/Luxury package. No other freebies. Anyone have any better dealer to recommend? Thank u

Thanks for reply. I decided on VL spec with Impul aerokit and Navi package. Opt for rm3.6k rebate. Ready stock in showroom. Can get car upon sign loan agreement. Hope its the right decision.

Hi all almerian. Im one not so happy almerian. First week get car, get bang by some idiot. Have to send for repair. Now already drove for one month. Mileage 1800km. Felt that my FC since day one is not that good. 80% city drive. Fuel up rm100 only go 500km. I was like wt*!! Nissan claimed 14.9km/litre. Felt that the first gear always stuck at 20km/h and need more revving to go beyond that. Is all cvt like that? I went up genting twice, man i rev like mad in order to climb the hill. Is it bcoz not synthetic oil? Down hill during corner, feel like gonna buang... I really dunno how to say my dissappointment.. Any idea or advuce on how to improve it?

Get whack by Nissan 4x4 at rear side. Repaired. New alike but the scar is in my heart . Every morning i used jalan kuching to work. Alot of car but moving at slow pace. I bought almera bcoz of space and FC only. Now felt like cheated because the effiency is not up to my expectation. Recently i been quite fed up with the 1st gear that i just floored the throttle whenever felt it wont move. For hill climbing, i tried 2 nd gear and also D with OD off. Unfortunately no diff. It normally tooks me 45mins from house to peak of genting. With almera its nearly 1.5 hour. My problem????

First week i used shell 95. Draggy.shell 97 normal only. Second week bhp. Good fc and power. Third week petronas. Same like shell. Now using Bhp all the way. Smooth revving. U guys can try it and c.

Bos whats e-drive?? Before this i driving manual. Now switch to auto. Still adapting. Trying different way of revving to get the most power out of almera. Kind of get it during today journey to genting highland.

Tested again today. Improved to 50mins. Kind of get the idea now. O/d off with D all the way and control of throttle is the key. Dun care new car, just revv harder and release slightly upon pick up. Acceptable result today. Will try again when my wallet got money haha. Btw i realised that my FC always improved upon back from genting. What is going on?? Whats the average FC of fellow almerian. Up to date my best is only 8.8 litre/ 100km.

Almera had a high body. So whenever i take sharp corner or fast corner, feels like gonna skid or turn over. So my confidence is not there. Any good idea on how to improve this? Im not that pro about car.

How to determine good or bad FC? I meant any guideline or sample to compare? Reset ECU need to pay??

Bos, on my first trip mostly i get 20km/h unless i floored the pedal. After few trip, i fed up d. What i do now is release the whole pedal when stuck at 20kmp and floored it quickly to rev it till i feel the pick up and lighten my foot. Its work for me at the moment. Somehow i felt that the first and second gear of almera is not that powerful. Hmm...

Bos, i off aircond for sure. Maybe the power will kick in upon change of full synthetic oil at SC?

What do u guys think of the stock tyre CC1 and sport rim? For me, its really an entry tyre frm conti. Nothing much to expect but the 185/65/15 really dont have much choice on market. Wth nissan gave such tyre for almere? Cheap?

Video not yet try. Where got time to watch wor.. But when i plug in usb thumb drive, it tooks a long time to read and play. Sometimes dont play at all and came out dvd interface. If play, duno wt* interface came out. So far already got three version interface appeared. First one got no button to press. No skip, no play nothing. Always play from first song. Second version, got search button. Need to press the track number only jump song. Third one like normal player. Got button and press forward from my steering. But after few song, will go blank. Fed up!! End up use bluetooth and play frm iphone. Will complain to SC on next service. Anyone facing this?

Oic.. Means BHP supply the oil to the rest of the brand as normal. Then whatever is added in is up to the respective brand? I always thought petronas is the taiko haha.. So the standard oil is Ron92? Last time i pump at Esso got one grey coloured pump is ron91 or 92? I remembered performance not much diff frm current 95.
