Guys...beware and alert when you going to jalan ipoh for car service, especially on Sunday. Below is my story

'Today is Chap Goh Mei, but i am not happy at all to celebrate it due to the service provide by HQ jalan Ipoh branch. I just get my Almera car before CNY, after calculate it less than a month. Today i doing my first 1000KM car service after that will go to buy 'Yee Sang' to celebrate last day of CNY. Guess what...when i collect my car, the front bonnet just upper of Nissan Logo paint is rip off/gone, dimension is  about 1cm. Since today is Sunday, the guy told me will wait for tomorrow so that he can discuss with his supervisor for solve this. I do hope can get good respond and solution on  HQ site. I do hope their car service team is more alert and take care of the car when send in for service...consider today is my un-lucky day and hope it won't happen again...new car less than month become not perfect and no mood to celebrate it. I won't consider go to HQ jalan Ipoh for next service again.'

my fc quite poor.

averages 9.0 litres/100km according to the dashboard meter.

however, my full tank of ron95 @ abt Rm65 - can get me nothing more than 330km then the light blinks already..

guys..my SA quote the impul bodykit rm1500 for front+rear+side skirting and spoiler..is it worth? the grill is not included in the package..

Serviced my first 1000km yesterday. Total damage is RM88 only. Waiting time was 1.5 hours as I made appointment. Complained about the vibration noise sound at exhaust. No noise after service but it came back after I drove for about 20mins. This is shitty man...

But I paid rm90 for 1st service. They don't offer free 1st 3 service anymore. Only free labor charge for 1st 3 service.

since almera is new engine..do we need to follow the rules where below 1000km of your speedometer, you cannot speed more than 90km or accelerate fast???any negative effect if we negligence this rules?

really?i'm worried because last time i drove about 160KM..n RPM not sure..is there any effect to the engine?if yes, how to know it?

Hi all almerian. Im one not so happy almerian. First week get car, get bang by some idiot. Have to send for repair. Now already drove for one month. Mileage 1800km. Felt that my FC since day one is not that good. 80% city drive. Fuel up rm100 only go 500km. I was like wt*!! Nissan claimed 14.9km/litre. Felt that the first gear always stuck at 20km/h and need more revving to go beyond that. Is all cvt like that? I went up genting twice, man i rev like mad in order to climb the hill. Is it bcoz not synthetic oil? Down hill during corner, feel like gonna buang... I really dunno how to say my dissappointment.. Any idea or advuce on how to improve it?

Did u use Shell or Petronas for ur petrol? Base from my experiences this two type of petrol really make ur engine a bit "delay"... maybe for a great FC but sacrifies the performance. CVT did delay a bit compare ordinary transmission but not that bad afterall 

may you explain how is the exhaust sound?
i got my car 10days ago, so far no sound was 'detected'....

btw, only 1 weird sound like 'grrrrr.....' when i start my car in the morning. this sound is from the front part, but i not sure what is tat...

Good question, actually the salesman told me that, I never tried it either as I don't have bicycle but now u make me wanna find out if it's real or not... SGD 19,086 is on the road price, this is the lowest spec with Auto, but no CVTC, just normal auto gearbox - in Brunei actually, not Singapore, currency the same. The mid spec will cost around B$/SGD 23K like that - you get the fog light, alloy wheel and a bit of additional here and there inside I guess. Again, for our market, no CVTC gearbox at that price, just the normal gearbox. I think the one with CVTC and all those key-less stuff and maybe leather seat and so on are only available for the high spec which cost over B$30K / SGD 30K. For all model/trim add B$2K for 17" sport rim/tires and another B$2K for Nissan made body kit. The base model B$19K price is for the sake of "beating" Toyota Vios price which is around B$25K to B$27K in here. Cheers.

Hi bro, no offense on me and from me either, but anybody can create a blog and publish their review on anything the way they want.

Second, in my review on my blog here = http://www.shewsbury.com/2013/08/nissan-al...iida-latio.html - I never mentioned anything about CVTC gearbox or the difference between all the Nissan offerings and all the specs.

However, in this forum (but never on my blog), I did discuss and give some opinion about the different trim offerings available in our place and I did discuss about what I thought it was on the CVTC gearbox offering. Then again, I am just an amateur who don't know much either, which is why I join this forum to share and to learn more with my fellow Nissan Almera owners.

In my blog, I never claimed to be an automotive engineering or Nissan expert. I am someone who most of the time review small toy cars, so I don't think my crappy amateur opinion on my review about my own Nissan Almera can change the world. I don't think anybody will really take my review seriously either. It's only an amateur opinion from a happy Nissan Almera buyer/owner.

So if you think I should not publish my personal review on my own blog because "I can't even understand what are CVTC, CVT, and difference between high spec & low spec" - then I will just apologize to you and move on, hope you happy with that. You seems to be more knowledgeable about cars or maybe Nissan products, so please share more with us. So, can we all get a long now.

May I know anyone here suffering high FC? My Almera ate RM70(B4 petrol price increased) of fuel only can got me 350km...its normal?!

Just wanna ask, how much do you think it cost to replace one tyre exactly like the ones they provided a.k.a stock tyres?
