I did a test drive almera just now...

Pros
1. pickup still there even though with 1.5cc and 4AT
2. roomy leg space at rear seat
3. finishing quality
4. roomy rear bonnet
5. light steering wheel (suitable for city drive)
6. remote trunk release

Cons
1. rear seat no enough for 3 person comfortably
2. 1 Airbag for basic spec
3. Need fork out RM3k-RM6k for recommended accessories and RM1500 for IMPUL bodykit
4. 1000kg kerb weight (no suitable for high speed)
5. 4AT transmission
6. small side mirror
7. lack of features
8. GPS system required external SD card to operate with

Overall:
it still a good car to afford by most of city driver...

RM1500 for IMPUL body kit only, no included other IMPUL accessories such as rim, tuned suspension system, front grill, exhaust system, etc...

as checked, original price for FULL IMPUL is RM9500...
but after the deduction of bodykit discount, then should be become RM8000...

i got the detail from Nissan HQ at PJ as there have IMPUL full spec on the VL range with detail...

VL + IMPUL (optional) = Rm79800 + Rm9500 (optional, no included discount price)

overall seem ok while i floor the pedal and rev till 5k rpm...
anyway, no doubt the rear passenger will be quite comfortable as the big leg space as told by my wife...
better request for test drive instead to feel the power...

but 1 issue put me back is low spec only come with 1 air bag and my wife questioned me that passenger's life not important?
anyway, most probably i will do booking if come with 2 air bag at least...

i think it is the loan interest for 1st few years only to allow new owner to own a car without paying much interest...
but of cos subsequent years of interest will higher than standard interest...

usually SA will over commitment as they want sales volume to secure their job & commission...
but at least u lock-in the launching price rather than taking risk for normal price...

happened on me last few days too as the SA CONFIRMED no power window anymore and rectified for current batch and he CONFIRMED for several times... later i checked with the owner who collect car from their branch 3 days ago... still have the power window issues which same as what i described to the owner... i requested SA to double check on the other newer car whether have same power window issues, maybe that owner is a lemon car, but he never get back to me anymore and indicate the problem still persist.... fed-ed up, i just forget the deal only as i didnt give any booking fees...
