Hi Guys,

Just want to ask, for those who got their new car that comes with the tint, did you requested for it (meaning have to pay an additional amount) or it was given just like that?

Normally the tinted is an offer from your SA in term of free gift for buyers. Or else, they will ask you do you want to install tinted on your behalf or you want install it at outside. Of course, you have to pay loh.

Ok, my SA didn't mention any free gift =/

I was asked whether I want to install security tint or not though, but have to pay la sad.gif

Subang branch. But ok la, I'll be getting an umbrella, a full tank of petrol and a steering lock. The tint I have to do on my own later on.

Leave it on. Means no "O/D off" on meter display.
O/D on = max 4 gear.
O/D off = max 3 gear

Thanks bro smile.gif

Will there be any effect to the engine in the long run if we leave it on?

OD on (4 gear) all time is normal. It was designed to b so.
OD off (3 gear) all time = high consumption gearbox fried.

OK, got it! biggrin.gif

Wanna ask the Almera owners here. Your car tyre jack, is it placed together with the spare tyre, or they just dump it in the boot itself?

Depends on your SA. Mine just put in the boot,  I place it back to where it should b by myself

Did you use any screws to put it back in it's place or you just wind up the jack until the jack is secured as it's place?

I have a question on filling up air for our tyres. Based on the indication sticker at the side of the door of our car, the amount of pressure for the front tyres are 230, and the rear ones are 210.

Do you all follow these specifications?

How much mileage are you all getting with the Almera ya? So far my average is about 9.4 ~ 9.5. Is that good? =/

That's about the same as mine. Mostly city driving though. My mileage is around 650 only so far, and I've never driven more than 100km/h yet haha.

Gonna send my car for the first 1k service this Sunday. Didn't know they're open on Sunday for car servicing. However, according to the guy who answered my call earlier, he said on Sundays and Public Holidays, they only do normal servicing. If need the technicians to check your car on any complaints that you have, they'll only do it on other days except Sundays and Public Holidays.

Anyone tried sending their car for servicing on Sundays and Public Holidays before?

Sent my car for it's 1k service today at PJ branch. I reached there at around 7.45am, took a number and waited. My number was 2013, and they were serving number 2007.

Waited quite a while for my number to be called, but then again, the mechanics only start work at 8.30am on Sundays. I was expecting the car to be ready by 11 or close to 12pm, but at 10.35am I received a text saying that my car is ready. Not too bad. But then again, I waited at the lounge for my car, so maybe they give a bit more priority to those who wait there? =/

Where is the KD branch ya? Any landmarks? The only area in KD that I know is Sunway Giza lol.
