It's been said that, Almera have stability issue 100km/h onward, how to overcome this? Change wider tire?
Added: Anyone add with 'Impul Sport Suspension System'? This post has been edited by Jemi: Mar 26 2013, 10:12 AM |

QUOTE(ET_Malaysia @ Mar 27 2013, 09:28 PM) You may also want to check the air pressure of the tires. Last time my car was quite unstable when driving >90km/h, later found out that the tires were over-inflated. Now, it's quite stable even when driving at 120km/h, only affected slightly by cross-wind. Ok, thanks.BTW, my car is fitted with original rims and suspension. BTW, I went to showroom last Saturday. I notice the test driver feel solid when open and close the door but the other on the showroom feel low quality. When I open the door, I can hear loud sound and when close it I can feel like proton BLM. All four doors, feel the same. When I ask the same person, he try to bluff me saying that it's because of the location of the car. Anyone can confirm? |

QUOTE(octop @ Mar 31 2013, 05:05 PM) I have read quite some feedbacks from Australian car review websites on Almera. Almera in Aus is same like ours, 1.5cc 4 speed auto, accesories also quite similar in pkg. I'm just curious that almost all of (>98%) them think Almera's exterior is ugly. They're quite 'polite' in comments compared to our readers (i.e paultan.org, autotraders) but I surprisingly learned that they just dislike (hate) the design even from exterior. I personally think Almera is better looking than Vios, Latio sedan, Saga ... etc. no matter how hard I tried to think otherwise whenever exterior is concerned & a lot from local share the same view. Its interior is practical but not good looking (and adding a donut panel on VL is a terrible mistakes). Besides that their other comments are quite similar to us i.e disappointed at 4 speed auto etc. In fact they don think it's ugly, they think it's fugly (fxxking ugly !) even from some Nissan supporters. Exterior: With proper bodykit + 16" rim+ lowered, its nice.Well I'm just astonished how big a difference in perception from ppl of two different region could go. Basically, when 99 out of 100 Australian consider a girl's pretty, it's likely the girl also looks not bad locally (vice versa), but it's not the case for Almera. You can see any Nissan review from Aus websites where readers unanimously agree Almera (N17) looks fugly. Strange. Interior: Decent, not really nice to me. The interior holding me back owning Almera. |

QUOTE(kimsim @ Apr 1 2013, 11:53 AM) Noted Forte dashboard for us, better than Almera.City is maintenance expansive and BAD FC. Forte is nice & sporty outlook, but dashboard ugly, and bad FC with no resale value. To be replace by K3 Soon. Nissan almost is cheaper and easy to mauntenace for long runs. K3 going to be expensive, probable more than 95k. Front view not really nice from my preference. |
