How good were the deals?

Well, booked myself a E spec this morning. Total discount RM4000 and Impul Bodykit for RM1500..

Sorry, don't quite get it. Total discount RM4000 and bodykit RM1500. Assuming you got the E spec automatic(RM69,813.50), do you mean you only pay RM65,813.50 after the deducting the RM4000 discount? The price for the bodykit at RM1500 is 50% off from the full bodykit price of RM3000? That means in total you pay RM65,813.50+1500(bodykit) = RM67313.50 ?

Full tank can go 680km ar? Good mileage bro.
I'll be happy if mine can go over 500km/full tank.
For me, full tank more or less 400km nia (80% city run) cry.gif

Most cars will register average to bad FC in city driving, not only the Almera. The bigger and heavier the sedan vehicle, or the higher engine capacity vehicle, the worse FC it will register. 80% city run, no wonder you got around 400km with full tank. If 50% city 50% highways, or 40% city or 60% highways, then only you will get better FC. With 80% city, it's quite normal to get bad FC. If you want good FC in city drive, something like the Viva would be good since it is small and light, but safety is down to zero.

Hi all, I am new here. I got my Almera last Friday and I'm lovin it.

My FC seems good, about 500km+/- for a full tank for traveling from Mutiara Damansara to/from Subang via LDP. I havent really driving on a highway yet but if you consider LDP as a highway then yes.

Sure or not.. From Mutiara Damansara to Subang Jaya via LDP. That stretch always jammed up crawling peak or non-peak hours.

Just to clarify. Did you get the Raytech CS65 tint free from your Nissan salesman? Also, will all your windscreen(Front, sides and rear) come tinted with CS65?

Thanks.

Change bigger tyre= worse FC? Current FC also not good liaooo
Lower n harder suspension=sacrifice comfort?
Install front n back strut bar how much? I heard friend said not so good for car if install these.. Will effect suspension n mounting
I abit noob bout all this thing...sad.gif

You should have got the Proton Preve Turbo instead of the ALmera if you like a stable ride with better cornering capabilities. All the modifications will cost you money, and it is a waste to change the tyres and suspension and install strut bar of a new car. Usually majority who modified their vehicles are doing it on old cars, usually the old-beat up Proton Wiras.

Most Nissan passenger cars are not meant to be driven fast and furious style but rather slow and steady since they are built for comfort. They cannot take corner as fast as other vehicles or else would end up upside down, turn turtle.

Bear in mind after you spent say RM4k-5k on the modifications, later when you want to sell the car all the cost of modifications cannot be recouped back, and worse still most people may not want to consider a vehicle that has been modified.
