Hey guys. How is your car fuel consumption coming along? Mine has been dismal...

I am getting 10.31 Kilometer per Liter. I believe it was supposed to be higher than that?

The in-car meter tells me that I am getting

8.6 l/100

What about you guys?

My mileage now is at 3.6k
*
8.6L/100km should equal to 11.6km/l.... ig would say is not too bad.... done is around the same at 8.5l/100km.... around 11.7km/l
All depends on driving condition and ur right foot.... hehe

Came back from penang ytd averaging 140.... used half tank of fuel for 340km.... not sure is good or not... meter showing average 8.2l/100km

Brought the car up to 160 and felt the car is not very stable around that speed... still using stock Tyre and steel rim though...

Get a sport comfort type tyres which around 240++ like falken 522, or yokohama c drive, would solve this matter me my self (VL spec + impul body kit) had change to 16 205/55/16 with a light weight 16 rims, but facing some cornering, without impul suspension are way too scary even small corner. Hope anti roll bar could solve it =\, suspension are way too expensive.
*
Start with anti roll bars and strut bars... hehehe but this month no more budget jor... cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

The other day i was cornering around 60-70 and step on the brake a bit hard as the car in front of me brake suddenly and my tail stepped out.... in the dry sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

A bit phobia already after tat...

espec cant change brightness for the meter

and Philip HID if cost rm130 >high % its not real stuff.
those cheap HID only look good and last for awhile. after that you will have one side blind headlamp or blinking headlamp

and let me say it again. if no projector, you going to blind alot of road user with HID
*
Maybe will change to Philips xtreme vision then... +100% brightness and still is halogen bulg.. so would be legal... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

What Chun said are true. Philips should b price around RM 200/200+. N retrofit HID in most of the case looks cool but causing inconveniences for other road users,  better upgrade your headlight as well if want use HID.
Do take note that even after change to projector type, it's still illegal to use HID from JPJ n RMP perspective.

Projector headlamps too expensive for me... i just wan brighter lights for night driving... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

The shop name is some home brand shop name in Penang but the film they used was from USA, Classis brand, can check from here http://www.classisfilm.com/filmtypes.html

I decided to tint at there coz the boss was quite honest after talked with him, he also got those 3M Crystalline and SolarGard, and he compared it with the Classis film, the Classis 1 was much better than SolarGard and comparable with Crystalline. So I decided to tint that film. Only RM900. So far so good, need longer monitoring.
He advised if budget can go like 1500-1600, just forget about others and top up to get Vkool.

I did my carpet from him also. Not bad. Later post photo
How much and where bro? Not bad.
Inside is wood or plastic?
*
I think its made of plastic, the whole thing is quite strong and wrapped in PVC leather... inside is wrapped in fabric... this armrest cost RM260, bought from DRC Car Accessories.... he is on LYN and FB...
