juz got back to JB from KB.
go & back it just RM200 of Ron95. my old waja should be RM300. maybe due to cc is difference.
But, driving was smooth and comfort. This is what I like the most.
Going back to JB, many time I overtake car & lorry using overdrive button.
Even the rpm increase compares to normal driving, but for me it’s still quite & pickup also become better.
I notice that when moving 80~90kmh, press overdrive button, zaaassss there she goes…easily can reach 120kmh.
But from stand still using overdrive button, almost can’t feel anything until reach 50kmh…

I agree the Almera Low Gear power was normally only but wen go to high gear will feel the power...I pump 30 ringgit Ipoh to Gerik bec Ipoh then bec Kl 330km...fuel efficacy no worry...mayb it was Nissan sunny concept 1st n 2nd gear feel no power...like sunny 130Y

Well, I have signed the contract, handed over the deposit.
Booked myself Midnight Grey, E Spec Auto with the RM1,500 aero kit.

Free: Ori Boot Tray & LED Wing Mirror. See if when take car, can tipu myself an umbrella and la la chap chap stuff

I got another SA that offered RM500 rebate but didnt ask if got anything else. Kinnda doubt can get other stuff though.

Anybody else thinks Almera is one of the ugliest car out in the market currently?

My feeling is that it's a good car but really ugly both front & back, inside out.

Everybody loves luxury merc,BMW n Ferrari...the point were are we afford to buy?
We pay RM 60-80k to buy a car no because of nice or performance is just we want to have practical and a quality of live..yes some national car price was on par with some Japanese car but do we still believe and confidence at our national car?
Don tell me u pay 80k can get luxury and high performance car...no 1 stone 2 bird in this world...sorry I buy the car not because of design I buy for the Pratical And the history of this brand..
Try open your eye to the world see some other jap car at other place and compare with our national car and Almera u will know the answer...

Like i said, i feel it's a nice car just that it's ugly and wondering whether i lack some sense in seeing a beauty.

Same to say a wife is a good wife but ugly. But it's not that bad we want substance not style without substance right?

TBH i felt it is an ugly car with an ugly ass.
But i started off my day to buy car by looking at Proton Saga first. It was clunky, underpowered n has less noise insulation than my 1995 Satria.

I then looked at Kia Rio. It is a beautiful car, spacious bonnet, great design, looks great interior and its sporty.

I thrn checked a more realistic target. Myvi. It was nice, way better than Saga. Not bad noise insulation and pretty good power response.

Out of whim, I went to Nissan. TBH, i didnt like it. It was not my first choice. Then i took it out on a test drive. Smooth, quick response, comfortable and on par with Rio in terms of comfort. But not the design.
Most importantly, the price and the brands spoke to me.
After pondering it over i choose it over Rio.

Reason? Brand. Comfort. Reliability.

I felt that it is a nice car with bodykit ... just the matter on personal preferences i tink hehe ...

oh ya guys ... i heard that there is a overdrive button on almera ... do u guys noe where it is located at and what is the function? getting my car soon hehehehe

Hi all. Been planning to get a myvi but my friend say not safe, get almera better. Considering the manual one? Almera owners, what's your opinion on the car? Ok? I plan to drive straight to klang & change sports rims instead of paying rm800 for the stock almera rims. Is the car good? Sound system good? Ty.
