*IMPORTANT: 1st thing, if your SA ask you to sign 'something' 1st bfr let you go see your car, kick his ass.
1. Check your Name, IC No on your grant.
2. Check your Engine No, Chassis No with those on the car grant.
3. Check for scratches on car, paint cond.
4. Check for spots, smear, wear/tear on interior fabric.
5. Check interior elec devices i.e Aircond panel, Multimedia console ... etc. & all those plastic switches.
6. Check your boot whether got spare tire & toolkit
7. Make sure vendor cop sign 3 warranty slip (Car, Sensor, Security & others), they should help you post 1 copy each.
8. Ask for any free 1, 5 10k service voucher.
9. In the car, check all lights i.e signal, emergency, low/high lights. Check all accessories like visor, sport rim, pedal, GPS ... etc.
10. Sign
11. If you found the fuel tank's empty, go say "Excuse me ..." and exercise your eye browse before your SA.
12. Don leave 1st, drive 1 round in place where you collect the car to CHECK ALIGNMENT. If alignment is out, ask SA to do it FOC for you.

... this is the basic one.

And they should give you a leather case for User Guide & Maintenance manual.*IMPORTANT: 1st thing, if your SA ask you to sign 'something' 1st bfr let you go see your car, kick his ass.

Okay so I collected my car last Wednesday & today out of curiosity I turned my car aircon temperature (note that it's an E spec) to the maximum (red) & turn it back later on. Mana tau it's all hot air now. Suspect something inside snapped. To all Almera owners with manual aircon controls kindly Check if yours have the same problem as it is better to find out now than after warranty period! Sending it to SC tmrw for inspection. Will update you all!

Anyone driving E Spec manual? Mind to share some feedback on FC, acceleration and power?? biggrin.gif
*
Me me! I got mine last week w/ bodykit. To be honest, the clutch is abit high when compared to other manual cars. The steering was real light so I swapped it with some 16 inch rims with 7 inch wideness. That improved the handling alot. smile.gif Overall car is real quiet & acceleration is so-so. 2nd gear real powerful. smile.gif In car sound system is good especially when you blast it. Not quite an experienced driver here as I just got my P license like less than a month ago. But it's good!

Me! The rims Looks nice but when it's on the car the Looks is just... so so as I didnt lower my car. Heard that it's not a good idea as I've got some impul kit on too. Traded in the full set for rm600 & changed to this rims w/ Yokohama A drive 205/55 R16 for Rm rm1680 including the special Tyre lock nuts. Here's a picture!

good to hear that

no picture to see?
can pm me the pic?

how is ride comfort with 16inch ?
*
Wahlao I just can't seem to share my picture via PM or here through my phone vmad.gif Comfort is not affected but make sure you get some good tyres. When I tried GT radial (proton preve stock tyres) cause it was cheaper by 200++, the cabin noise is... Horrible. Yokohama is not bad but it will still be abit noisier than the stock Continental CC tyres. So reconsider what tyres you'll plan to change! And it will also give you better grip + steering feels heavier due to the friction of it. My rims are 8 inches wide, previous stock ones are 6 I think, that's why on the road the rims like inside of car w stock ones, shakehead.gif

My mileage is around 2.2k, getting an average of 9.2. Full city drive, stuck in jam 1/3 of the time. Hardly drove above 3k rpm unless I speed :b Upsized the rims & only drive to college And back. Highest I get for a full tank is around 420++ km :sigh:
