BTW, I went to showroom last Saturday. I notice the test driver feel solid when open and close the door but the other on the showroom feel low quality. When I open the door, I can hear loud sound and when close it I can feel like proton BLM. All four doors, feel the same.

When I ask the same person, he try to bluff me saying that it's because of the location of the car. 

Anyone can confirm?

My friend drive Forte for 2 years, he said drove KL to Penang not even half tank but city drive RM50 can get 250km.

Finally found a buyer for my old car and looking at the Almera direction. Just me, my wife, maybe a kid in the future and occassionally sister in law and mother in law in the car. Have been thinking long and hard and i need a car with low FC. Hence im looking at the almera for the long run.

Wife is looking at the Alza S. Any more points i can use to convince her for the Almera besides the low FC?

Just arrive home from Melaka. It was my 1st long drive with Almera, and i could say the FC and comfort is GREAT!! No sakit belakang like i drive my brader Myvi SE. FC only 3bar (dun ask me how many liters. i dunno) Melaka - KL and average speed 130kmh. only slowdown at Bangi AES spot SHAIT JPJ bot.

Added to this I also have drive to Genting and my take is Almera was not built for climbing. Even Viva is faster than me. I have to ram the engine 4 to 5k rpm just to get the power to climb. Its only my wife and me inside, nothing in the bonet and the car age was 2 weeks that time.

Just sent my car into kilang today to paint the flaked off area, also highlighted the high FC to the SA.

I am getting an average of 9.2k  per lit, only drive in city. Pretty sure its not that high right?

SA say they will cucuk the car to find out. My max speed is 80km/h only.Very mild driving style

E spec. Car not moving. No adjustment to the AC were made. Can hear the tak sound of fan turning on. Then 10 sec or more. Tak again. Sometimes driving also same.

Asked SA about it but he said normal. I disagree...

Okay so I collected my car last Wednesday & today out of curiosity I turned my car aircon temperature (note that it's an E spec) to the maximum (red) & turn it back later on. Mana tau it's all hot air now. Suspect something inside snapped. To all Almera owners with manual aircon controls kindly Check if yours have the same problem as it is better to find out now than after warranty period! Sending it to SC tmrw for inspection. Will update you all!

just got my almera 5 hours ago. so far i totally love its quietness as compared to my 10 year old honda civic.

havent gotten a chance to try the FC yet, mileage only 72 km. car was given to me with 1/4 tank petrol.

will monitor as per info given in this thread.

Me me! I got mine last week w/ bodykit. To be honest, the clutch is abit high when compared to other manual cars. The steering was real light so I swapped it with some 16 inch rims with 7 inch wideness. That improved the handling alot. Overall car is real quiet & acceleration is so-so. 2nd gear real powerful. In car sound system is good especially when you blast it. Not quite an experienced driver here as I just got my P license like less than a month ago. But it's good!

To those who bought almera 2012 batch, r u facing any major prob? Just want to survey..
