Looked nicer. Anyone install DVD LCD for your almera? Any good recommends? I have found this quiet cheap RM 399 + RM 80 installation. Made in Taiwan. Worth?

Almera owner who came yesterday to get the speed lock installed

surprise to find that the front hood does't come with any thin black cover

so owner decided to get this done to reduce engine noise and of course protecting the front hood in the long run , as it rejects heat too'

smile.gif something worth investing only Rm 180 for a double layer protection, one to reduce vibration and second to reduce heat and sound

Hi may I know where is the shop that do this protection? Is the engine noise really reduce after do? how obvious?

we are based at jln meru klang

like us at fb for more superb deal

Sh0rty5 new page

soon will update more stuff inside

QUOTE(SniperUnit @ Jun 13 2013, 04:26 PM)
Based on my experience, Nissan Almera sound proof is very good no need all these extras. Just my 5 cents opinion.
*
good or not, is very subjective .

But some they do that not because engine noise is very noisy , but because stock almera doesn't comes with any protective layer , so ppl add it to protect the front hood from fading color fast

Hi i went to your shop just now, Thanks for service and explaination I'm satisfied with the result.
*
Thanks for the feed back , and yes , sound proofing is definitely a very subjective issues ,but hope that short demo show you the difference

if we are talking about immediate difference, its definitely the roof top

QUOTE(shawnwkw87 @ Jun 15 2013, 05:42 PM)
U was the one installing the Hood soundproof just now?? How was the result? Is the cabin quite??? Do post ur feedback... they just finished installing foglamp, component set and Led lamp in my car.... very satisfied with service...
*
thumbup.gif

thanks for coming bro . and as we were explaining earlier to the bro that did the front hood , sound proofing itself is a very subjective issue , it's not because of the price Rm1xx or STP RM 2xx...

It's because each part has their own noise coming in from , so we cannot expect to have a super quiet cabin just by doing the front hood , as we said , there are noise coming from the firewall , floor and etc..

but one things for sure, you can be assure that u have already protect ur front hood from heat

Did a short experiment with our Saga earlier , with the 4 doors for Rm 300 package..

Doing that itself , we can't expect to have the mind set , oh , we spent 300 bucks, i am expecting a quiter cabin noise..

Nope, it doesn't work that way .. Cause the first layer we did was to reduce vibration of door panel ( especially those who change speaker wth better bass )

once second layer is done, than we can expect exterior noise to be reduced and heat

nod.gif writing the whole process would be kinda long story, just like us on FB , and keep updated from time to time to understand more

) like the page

Yup, come with the Y socket. Good safety feature, at least I can't drove off with the lock engaged  blink.gif

Installation takes a while, about 40minutes. A difficult task to have the Locktact installed, due to confined space  sweat.gif

They have got the auto lock too, but RM120. Yours are cheaper  rclxms.gif
*
laugh.gif 10 bucks not much, dun worry laugh.gif

p.s lock good price u have too thumbup.gif

but installation a little long laugh.gif

Tcat is awesome, remind me of speed limit whenever I a speed limit area. Anyway anyone knows where to get economic price on steering/pedal lock ? My friend's honda city just get hijacked this evening at jalan tun razak. Scaryy
*
Let's put it this way , a pedal lock is a theft prevention thingy , and doesn't help in an event of hijack smile.gif

QUOTE(Steve Lum @ Jul 21 2013, 10:11 PM)
I dont think it will void the warranty unless ur trying to improve it's performance by modifying the engine. I gonna change the rims, adding DRL , lighting and subwoofer to my Almera VL impul once i get my chance and permissions  wink.gif btw for the DRL, it depends on whether ur'e adding the DRL straight or changing the whole headlamps which comes with DRL. DRL itself cost about RM600 for high quality ones(AEON pricing) or RM2000 for a whole headlamp with DRL. I'll be going for the whole headlamp as it looks better than adding the DRL itself
Edit: Try not to go back to Nissan for warranty claim if ur lighting goes wrong as they will just claim that it is due to the DRL u added. But well,it wont void the whole warranty  icon_rolleyes.gif

Tested again today. Improved to 50mins. Kind of get the idea now. O/d off with D all the way and control of throttle is the key. Dun care new car, just revv harder and release slightly upon pick up. Acceptable result today. Will try again when my wallet got money haha. Btw i realised that my FC always improved upon back from genting. What is going on?? Whats the average FC of fellow almerian. Up to date my best is only 8.8 litre/ 100km.
*
QUOTE(taiping boy @ Jul 30 2013, 09:19 PM)
Almera had a high body. So whenever i take sharp corner or fast corner, feels like gonna skid or turn over. So my confidence is not there. Any good idea on how to improve this? Im not that pro about car.

this is purely my opionion

more power = more petrol
no magic on this

if u want got better fc u will need to sacrifice on power

others may hv diff view on this
*
laugh.gif
fc is a very subjective issue, and we can say adding ours give u power and u wont complain about fc ( if u knw how to use it )

old timers even claim giving u power and save petrol ( but of course, we dun say this as our selling point , UNLESS you are very very familiar with it )

laugh.gif at the end of the day, it is hard for ppl to believe, so we give them a one week free trial.. enough to make u decide ur mind nod.gif

will sacrifice FC?
*
QUOTE(ken74 @ Aug 19 2013, 01:44 PM)
i think it depend on your swtting lo.. will makan Fuek IF you want more power.
*
Pb itself will not increase your FC . in some cases, old timer even claim to save fuel, but we as seller, keep it simple, PB will not increase ur fuel consumption , but ur driving style after installing PB might laugh.gif

Where can I get impul grill with a good bargain? I checked at mudah cheapest is RM400.

And can I simply go to any accessories shop to install the dvd player/gps/rear camera? how much is it normally cost?
