Did about 41-42km around DPC tonight. Not sure on average speed unfortunately as I forgot to reset my computer from the last ride sad.gif
*
divide it with roughly the amount of time it took... like 1.5 hours and your average would be around 28kph...

how did you pull 42k out of DPC.. just riding the loop??? not exactly a lot of roads there unless you ventured out into kepong...

No sir. You might have missed the carbon types in the Scott website. I've read reviews about the different types of carbon material on the Foil series. The HMX and HMF thingy.

http://www.cyclingtips.com.au/2012/05/scott-foil-review/
Just asking about the BMC since they have promotion around here, which costs at RM6K..so it's more or less the same price as in Malaysia.
*
yup.. you're rite... i looked at the f0il 10 and team versions only and both used HMX and i assumed also the rest of the f0il xx ranges.. HMF starts from 15, 20, 30 and so on...

why would you consider an entry level carbon when you already have one... isn't it a bit redundant... at least a racemachine would have been better.. wait for the rumored aero road frame that the team was testing last year and see if it develops into a released product this year

Well it's the same advice I've given to minizian to not buy another bike in the same level. Why would I get another bike at the same level? First I'm planning to sell my Merida to my friend, top up a bit and get the bMC and swap everything to the bmc. Same level but diff brand.

2nd, I'm toying up with the idea of having a couple of bikes tongue.gif u know with the price of a zipp wheels I could easily buy another bike. And since its kinda cheap that's why I'm having this idea.

The aero roadbike could be the teammachine series?
It's not out here yet but soon to arrive at lbs, and they already have the pricing and specs.
*
you have two butts? why need more than 1 bike?

it's a separate line up like the gran fondo... supposed to be on par with the teammachine and as you will expect.. price as well...

it's not announced yet however as far as i know... your shop already has the pricing?

My bad. Not teammachine...it's the timemachine am I right? Or is there's newer aero bike from bmc apart from the teammachine?

I'm not familiar with bmc line up..but is it this one? TMR01

Lbs here quoted in AED:

With ultegra = 23995
Ultegra Di2 = 32995
DA 9000 = 49995
*
my bad.. it's out and didn't notice it...

it's not a TT rig... it is supposedly an entirely new line up of bike that will be alongside top ends like TeamMachine (all rounder), GranFondo (Classics/Endurance)... it is a road based aero frame with borrowed features from timemachine... just like the new Madone 7 with hidden/shrouded brakes and aero features...

or similar to the Canyon Road CF or the Spez Venge.. it's a new aero line up...

for me, i only need to ask 3 questions...

1) Mr. Armstrong, did you dope in any point of your career?
1) Mr. Armstrong, did you really dope in any point of your career?
1) Mr. Armstrong, did you really really really dope in any point of your career? cross your nuts (if you still have any) and hope to never cum again

what is the point of knowing the specifics? can't get why he needs to know what he needs to know... i support if oprah does not feed the troll and satisfy his curiosity...

screw that idiot and don't let him write another book again to remind us of the bad times... the past is the past dude... butt-raped is butt-raped... nothing can be done to restore that gaping hole left by the rapist...

great questions!
*
it's the fact wat... why else do i want to know how he stuck a pipe up his ass filled with someones clean un-dopped urine so he can fake a urine test... i don't care... it's either he did it or did not...

do you want to know how your parents made love when they conceived you??? which position they used, missionary, doggy, spoon, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, some kamasutra freaky deaky moves? did he use long strokes or short strokes? did she squeeze? did both of them had an "O"? how long they were at it? how much time they spend on foreplay? did they scream? did they shout "say my name"? did they lift their leg up???

no wat!!! you only want to know they did it and when they did it... that's sufficiently too much information to handle...end of story...

why would i care about the details... so, f@k him..

But then, if ms. "o" would come up on screen and ask.. Lance Armstorng, did you ever doped after your cancer survival and he says "Yes" and interview ends... it'll be nothing interesting right?

So, to make things interesting.. i would like to give ms. oprah an open letter of myself asking 3 of my personal questions

1) Is it less painful to ride if you have only 1 testicle?
2) Is positioning on the saddle less important if you have only 1 testicle? does it go to the left, right or center..
3) Does your 1 and only testicle accidentally slip into cut out area of a cut out saddle which explains why Mr. Armstrong, you have stayed off cut out saddle for the longest period of time???

some interesting questions that will never ever get answered again in our lifetime... let alone by Ms. Oprah... Ms. Big "O" ...

please ask my question, please... pretty please

you can choose to and not to...

base layers are not common over here due to the weather... even with summer base layers..

user posted image

they are sometimes more cooling as it tries to what they call wick moisture away from your skin more effectively and from science... we understand that when moisture vaporizes.. it helps to draw energy from the surface it is hanging on and in our case... the heat...

I think my pubic bone hurts a damn bit, when I altered my riding position by (tilled my pelvic bone forward) hope this new geometry will make my Gluteus Maximus workS harder.

Still trying to figure out the mechanics of powering the pedals, it seems quite unnatural for me power efficiently and powerfully. Just can't seems to blend the power coherently among the different leg muscles.
*
"damn" and "bit" don't really go together you know...it's either "damn hell lot" or a "tiny little bit"...

you'll never get a balanced work out of all your muscles from a single seating position... you have to scoot forward and back on your saddle to do so...and this is actually a way to let your muscles rest especially on climbs, so as to give it rotation shifts...

most importantly is actually core strength / stability.. with very good core muscles... you have better leverage of your power generation of your lower body...

pylometrics is one of the type of exercise which emphasize a lot of core strength... if done properly... it can help you build lots of explosive power, fast twitch muscles...

seen a friend who practices it for quite long time manage to jump side to side over a bench press machine without having the need to squat all the way down...

like this guy.. damn impressive... but worries it affects slow twitch muscles if you only focus on pylometrics...

doper is a supporter of pylometrics on his comeback 2.0....jus so you know...

that's where seated climb and standing climb two different postures practiced by cyclists ma...
*
itu tak sama mah... you stand to put more weight into the pedal but at the same time increase the need for oxygen intake exponentially... while you can alter seat positions to maximum usage of different muscle groups without increasing too much effort...of course along with that.. no speed increase lar... but you can cycle your muscle groups and don't wear them out too quickly if you are not the out of saddle type...

Thanks, rotation is good for recovery, another question is.. through my understanding, powering the pedals in a continuous clockwork motion by both legs simultaneously is the preferred choice rite? But I can't seems to exert the equal amount of power especially during the upward strokes for either legs, so is this normal for beginners and needs practices?
*
you mean the perfect pedal stroke???

it requires damn hell lots of practice and persistence in it... practically you have to put your mind to it until it becomes automatic like driving a manual car... very essential for people who spin light gears as it is among their armory of needed skills..

best way to learn it is on a roller by spinning in faster than your usual cadence or if you don't have one... try on level grounds with not much traffic to pedal around on 1 leg with clipless pedals..... forces you to realize where and which part in the pedal stroke that hiccups... usually in the 7 to 8o'clock position...

http://www.bicycling.com/training-nutritio...ct-pedal-stroke

this is another discussion.. but quite fascinating as it looks into the pedal stroke across different cadence..
http://www.cyclingtips.com.au/2009/05/effi...stroke-ankling/

even after trying for so long.. i don't think i got it down correctly as well... as i say.. persistence is key..

What are the available good protein supplement that you can recommend, I lost nearly 3 kg of fat/muscle- so, thinking of replenishing some muscle through some good diet and cycling.

you don't lose fat.. you lose muscle mass...

fat magically appears from nowhere... which is why it is public enemy number 1 (gurls practically treat them like their fathers murderer)...except for when you are speaking of lip smacking crackling roast pork and crystal char siew
