QUOTE(mrjgx @ Dec 8 2012, 02:19 PM) ive been wondering what tyre pressure do you guys use on normal ride? for me the comfort one is 90 psi..I used to ride with 110psi for every ride but it gaves me a harsher ride especially when I changed to FR0, hence I lowered it down to 90psi for every ride.. Only here in my new place where they have smooth surface for the whole 85km loop that I pumped up back to 110psi for every ride as the smoother the surface, the more higher I can use the pressure for a better speed...correct me If i'm wrong front 7bar, rear 8bar.

QUOTE(butthead @ Dec 9 2012, 01:18 AM) you can see that using the same 303 firecrest rim.. the 23mm does offer better wind cutting performance than the 25mm.. which zipp claims that it over-rides the saving in wattage from rolling resistance reduction... so, it really depends on how you see it... on one hand, you get slight comfort improvements and lesser rolling resistance on the other, you get maybe more turbulent airflow behind the wheels and increase air resistance... again, you have to weigh your options based on what you ride more... boss, what about using narrow rims like ksyrium with ride 25 tyres? i notice fulcrum rims are wider than ksyrium. ksyrium sl rim width edge to edge is (19f/20r)

QUOTE(butthead @ Dec 10 2012, 03:33 PM) strava provided the base for him to indulge in his stupidity in the first place... if they didn't create a KOM event out of the app... it might not have happened... and ironically, he did not die going uphill.. he died going down which is dumb for a KOM competition to take into account downhills... doesn't make sense... yes, it is not the apps fault... it's the creators fault for having stupid rules for stupid people to exploit... don't endorse the damn thing and let it die... hmm... both of them stupid? that's y i stay away from strava

QUOTE(stacker99 @ Dec 11 2012, 11:37 AM) Dear Sifus... I'm looking to upgrade to Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheelset for my road bike. Have heard many good reviews on it. Due to limited budget, am scouting around lelong and found an auction for it but am a bit skeptical if they are ori or worth the price. I would like to seek advise if there's fake Ksyrium wheels out in the market and how to differentiate them with the oris? Also would appreciate if any advise can be given on the pricing would be great! Thanks. it's not that hard to differentiate between fake ksyrium and oris. fake ksyrium would look like this and oris would look like this

QUOTE(butthead @ Dec 11 2012, 05:07 PM) mana u pernah nampak the c24 straight pull replacement spokes? it's definitely a "fat ass do not need apply" type of wheel... the spokes cannot be trusted at all... it "straight pulls" out of the hub body whenever it gets a chance to do so... i tot almost all factory wheels come with straight pull spokes Added on December 11, 2012, 5:38 pmQUOTE(butthead @ Dec 11 2012, 05:07 PM) define bomb proof... your definition, mine or SDU? can survive landmines?
