for the rear left, definately not absorber, changed mine and still have it

I think i m having the same problem, passenger rear side.

Found the sound mostly in the morning going through the bumps, and during raining days, especially these days...

i only change stopper before i found out the problem, thought it is the bush.

Last week went to world car care (proton sri petaling), changed all 4 bushes, and the problem still the same next morning.

went for second time joint inspection with the mechanics, still cannot find the source of the problem, they advise me send to COE.

after that, changed to R3 spring instead, confirm the sound is still there, since the sound is not permanent, sometime is there, sometime whack bumps totally no sound...drive my crazy until now...

i suspect it comes from bush/suspension mounting/muffler heat shield........

icic...not from heat shield...i put a padding in between heat shield and car body, still have sound.

yours persists throughout the day or only in morning?
*
mostly in the morning, but i m sure its not only in the morning...during raining days also obvious, i also highly suspect its from one of the bushes when it hits with water...

i check your video, maybe you can post here, my sound is exactly like yours...

i did the same like you at the heat shield....

okay,

1 week already, finally can know this solution for the rear left problem. it is the rear left parking brake cable mounting.

source,

the center part is moving around when the car goes over bumps, making the rear left sound.

even after tighten it, it reduces alot, but still present.

[attachmentid=3175459]

therefore, solution, buy the insuflex like material, surround it so that it cannot move within the mounting and cant make any sound.

[attachmentid=3175461]

hope this helps.

i can only think of a reason why inspiras are getting this,cuz our suspension is much softer, there are more free play and the cable moves more than the lancer gt ones.

bro, thanks for the effort, another contribution from bro ckk.

guys, if u happen to face this problem, don worry, solution is here again.

stiffer suspension might not notice this, after my 1 week testing on grease, an insulation is a must to cure the problem..
