yea.. lower air intake looks "wavy"..

after several failed attempts to manually fix the faulty driver side aircon vent, finally they give up and replace a completely new unit for me.

thankfully is under warranty, RM300 per piece! made in jepun wor

feels very longgar.. wont stay in place especially going over speed bumps.
for example if the vent aiming me, when going through bumps, it will just loosen itself and point towards the sky

this air vent issue, i at 10k service start complaining edy, the mechanic took it out and adjust with a screwdriver then put back say ok edy...

but then actually not completely solved yet.. although not so often but still will change position by itself.. so at 20k service i complain again..

another mechanic took out and fix again... this time it wont change position itself already, but got new problem is cannot adjust to certain angle jor...

so last week 30k service i complain again, they finally decided to give up and let me claim a new unit

i think this is quite a common problem among our car...
i didn't bring it back, this photo i took at the SC while they were busy changing the thing, inside the plastic bag is the original faulty air vent..

the new one does not have the problem as the old vent, it's 100% fine!!

me also put 34psi... mine is 225/50/17

about this issue, i wan ask isn't it not advisable to change to and fro D to N while stopping for short period for auto car?
especially our sensitive/expensive CVT gearbox... i sked do too much unnecessary stuff will spoil the 20k gearbox

the other day i went there to install the extractor, frank got mentioned to me saying if can get 10 ppl gb he can sell it to us at 430 including labor...
if i've not remembered wrongly la that was 2 months ago
