you stop and go on 100% city drive..of course fc sucks..people here drive mostly 30/70 highway/city...how is your service? what oil u use? the tire pressure of your car?

you have to sacrifice something in order to gain performance..you can't get the best of both world. you want your car to last longer, don't mod, you want to fork out less money during service, go for K&N or Simota Air filter or what ever reusable air filter u can find in the market.

The little performance gain is because K&N is oil based reusable stock replacement air filter. oil based catches dirt more efficient than non-oil based. So dirt coming in your car will be less than non-oil based air filter. There again, you will sacrifice a bit on the performance side because when it traps dirt, it also will in order hand hold back a bit of air coming in. So, you will not get that much of performance gain or non at all on K&N compared to Simota.
