Accidentally cut both my index fingers while trimming armor pieces, so stop for tonight

Guess the ears are too long... Actually had powermaster OP as inspiration, but yeah the idea is to give him the powermaster trailer that transforms into his big limbs, while still be able to revert back to regular FOC OP

The more i look at this prowl, the more I notice how this mold could've been easily retooled into a better TFP Smokescreen.

Yeah, I think the WRC Imprezza totally had the best paintjob, considering they had to replicate the real car. Though my fav BT/Alt would be Rodimus followed by WheelJack and Overdrive/Windcharger.
Kinda disappointed with how Rumble turned out though, since they teased with this:

I like radically crazy transformations rather than the usual symmetrical splitting they always do.

BT has a special place in my heart because it's what got me back into TFs (after giving away half of my childhood collection a week prior, lol).

Ahah, exclusives. I tot us asians are already part of their exclusive target? Striker Prime, Year of Dragon/Snake, etc, so everything else is normal stuff ady.

I won't call it stealing, really. How many ways can you make an accurate G1 transformation for Soundwave? It's more like they'd rather not fight a losing battle when it comes to mass-production. 3rd party should really focus more on obscure characters/combiners where HasTak would not dare to gamble on.

Unfortunately, big companies like HasTak can't afford to do R&D and make super detailed TFs all the time without making their precious shareholders break a sweat, hence the tried-and-true formula of simple TFs for kids. The BT/Alt/Masterpiece line were made for this higher-end stuffs, but we know what happened to these lines; high-costs, low sales= dumbing down MP, no more die-cast.
3rd party can easily do R&D in their freetime as a hobby, and then sell them on a per-order basis with profits.

If anything, the best way to go is for HasTak to provide a separate line for 3rd parties to sell under the official names; HasTak allowing the use of the TF brand at an agreed price based on the product's cost, 3rd parties selling under official name/licence with HasTak providing support/facilities. It's kinda like outsourcing stuffs, but that's just my dreamworld

Finally DONE!

My first actual full kitbash project involving a Transformer toy and I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out in the end (except for the paintjob, which was entirely done with markers).

No Gundam-inspired mod is complete without the addition of Beam Sabers. These fit nicely into the side armor panels

Considering how flimsy some of the parts are, the video review will probably turn out funny with stuffs falling apart, haha. Gonna stick some plastic cement on them later.

Didn't Seibertron also reported that FOC Voyager Grimlock has been brought forward to be released on Dec 15th? Christmas came early yo...

It's amazing how that paint job makes the whole thing looks wonderful, considering how hideous the original release looked

How much did you got that for? Still got enough stocks for walk-in customers?
