Fantoys ald cancel their previous MP-like soundwave because Takara hijack it from them... copy their design and make the official one...

I foresee same thing will happen again for MP-like shockwave. Just wait and see if Takara going to announce MP shockwave.

FansToys actually announced via TFW2005 that they cancelled their Soundwave since TT announced MP13. Though they only officially did that after a month or two.

Not-Shockwave is coming out in Feb 13'. I guess they keep this under wrap to avoid making the same mistakes again. But the price is too steep for a 3rd party and no credibility with their products and quality before. $120 below would be a good introductory point.

seriously? takara stole their design? how low can they go..that means... the third party designs can be stolen ANYTIME by takara. steal the design, then rerelease it with super duper price. profit.

Those still looking for the "elusive" RID vehicon and Voy UM can head to 1U for Parkson Xmas Sale...I promise you'll find them in abundance..
So many that I could care less to snap pics except UM at the corner of a stand..
Not sure if there's any discount tho coz price tag shows retail..

I won't call it stealing, really. How many ways can you make an accurate G1 transformation for Soundwave? It's more like they'd rather not fight a losing battle when it comes to mass-production. 3rd party should really focus more on obscure characters/combiners where HasTak would not dare to gamble on.

is that roof kibbles easily removed just like RID Arcee back wheel? or got screw?

I think Takara is more like countering with their own releases-Encore Devastator,Encore Sixshot,Mp Soundwave......

he actually looks pretty good without the side kibble.. slightly underrated figure.. he really is starting to grow on me

encore sucks. dont get me wrong, i am a geewunner, but takara has to wake up and really wallop their R&D to redesign and update the robots already. third party companies ahve surpassed them miles away with their re-engineering and design updates.

Wohohoho,Encore is still ok if you keep them MISB.
