I would like to know if any of you have filed claim against Beauty Salon for damaging your skin by causing scars and acne breakout? I am going through this. I would like to know your opinions.

I've read the same thing before in the papers. Where this woman complained about scars caused during a facial.

Did u go for an extraction facial?

Yes, there were a lot of similar cases in the paper recently. I think you can ask any lawyer, see what you can do with it.

I meant I have filed the claim against the beauty centre in the Cinsumer Tribunal Court. But my concern is what to expect in the court and what proof can help me to get back the money if not compensation.

Hi all, i am speaking from my personal experience with this beauty salon in Bandar Sri Damansara.

The owner, Annes claimed that her extraction skills will never leave marks or scars on the customers face. But she did extraction on my face and left a lot of scars and marks on my face that even after three months, they are still there. I have severe acne breakout after that too. I am taking legal action against them.

Share the words out. Beware of this salon.

The Tribunal Court has ruled that the bloody bloodsuckers in the beauty center needs to refund me the balance amount that I didn't use. And they were told to pay me within14days time from 21Nov the hearing date. But they have NOT paid me yet. Such stupid cheapskate. During the hearing, They even argued with the President that I should bear the cost of the Admin charges. Stupid crazy people. the Presiden said its not fair for the business owners to take advantage on the consumer. Serve them right. The business owners even threaten me outside the court. they are one Chinese couple, they also use their premises to recruit Amway distributors. I hate it when the business owner aka the beautician always asked me to take Amway supplements and to use Amway skin care products. She even lied to me that her other skin care products are made in France. Such a liar.

Can anybody tell me what steps I can take other than writing the Aduan to the Tribunal Court? And what can the court do to help me get the refund?

If you're willing to spend some money, maybe you can try asking a lawyer for advice.

We have to be very, very careful with beauty salons, there is no control over them by the government so they can do anything they like and treat all their customers like guinea pigs! They don't worry if they are sued, they just close business and start again under a new name ... Especially if you are considering laser or machine treatments, Read - Botched Laser Treatment please be very, very careful. Most of their equipment is dirt cheap and they sell at very very high prices, plus they push all kinds of unknown skincare brands that you have no knowledge of.
