if flash using mobile odin then will remain there
yet, remove the recovery if flash using mobile odin

Why you want to use mobile Odin to flash a stock ROM if purpose solely to go back to stock. Is senseless to do such

at last, i manage to make my phone's battery drop 3% on 6 hours sleeping. just feel like using ics back. so i think if i leave until 8 hours, maybe it drop up to 5% like when i using stock ICS.

before this, battery drop more than 20% on 6 hours without having wifi or data connection. if change to flight mode, it will drop more than 15%.

only using stock JB. i only off google now, uninstall viber and line.

btw, is worth to buy powerbank yoobao 13000mAh for RM130 including postage?
*
RM130 sounds like a fake product to me

if its unrooted, then triangle away is useless.  laugh.gif

so i guess the only solution is..

1. root phone
2. install triangle away to wipe
3. find a special stock room with .zip so can flash

but got 1 problem. those rooted apps like superuser will still be there.  sweat.gif
*
You flash using Odin in PC phone will auto unroot n superuserapp gone

im sorry for my noob question that going to ask now.

I just flashed the leaked 4.1.2 from sammobile. since it is rooted means already triggered the binary count. Now i want flash either wanamlite v5 or omega v33. should i reset the binary count then only flash the rom or jsut flash the rom and ignore the binary count? anything will happen when the binary count getting more?

next question is both wanamlite v5 and omega v33 are based on the leaked 4.1.2 right? which is one better? can give some review and suggestion? and i saw omega v33 have installed all the 4.2 camera apps those thing?
*
Just go ahead n flash it. Ignore existing binary count as it will not affect phone in any way

thx for it.

Do you using either wanamlite v5 or omega v33? any reivew or suggestion on it? although it seems awesome, but in xda forum still saw people complaining on it for some minor bug
*
There will always be minor bugs
There will never be a perfect custom ROM
Even stock ROM has its minor issues

1) backup all use apps
2) backup all system data
3) backup all user apps + system data

which one should I choose?
I used to backup all user apps + system data... when restore, it asked that when install the system data, the existing will be overwrite... is it like that or how should I do it? Please teach me

Choose 3 n in restore select missing apps if you are on a different rom

Sorry for a noob question. Im using Odin to update my s3 firmware to 4.1.1. Is it consider root or modified? If anything happen to my phone and want to send back to samsung for repair, got any problem or not? thanks
*
Using Odin in PC to update official firmware will remove root/CWM ( if present) and your phone will reboot as good as stock rom
That is what most users usually will do before sending in phone to claim warranty
But do use the app triangleaway to wipe any flash counters before flashing the stock rom

Yes Im using Odin on my PC to update the firmware. My phone havent been root before using the Chainfire rooting as mentioned on the 1st page. So meaning if i send for warranty claim, and the Samsung technician check my phone, it consider as not modified right? Or do I need to use the app Triangleaway before sending juz to make sure?
*
Boot phone manually to download mode and check whether your binary counter is ZERO. If so than no need to use triangleaway app to wipe it clean
Actually all these tricks to clean your phone of traces of rooting/flashing only help the user only to have certain level of confidence submitting in claims
This will definitely "cheat" the staff who take in your phone BUT NEVER the tech who if he wish can dig into your phone hidden files to see such previous root/flash records provided he wants to do it
But most of the time they dont bother but if you come across one of those exceptionally hardworking tech, whatever steps you have taken is ABSOLUTELY NO USE as warranty will still be voided

most of the apps are working with JB now. So far I havent encounter any apps that cannot be run on JB

Only in ver 4.2 you see some apps incompatibility but I do see developers solving it gradually the past week since I upgraded my Nexus 7 to ver 4.2
