Really too bad. Why don't you try send for warranty first?
Repartitioning is only last resort if nothing else works; and I only know from what I have read as never tried before.
From ODIN, possibly repartition and flashing PDA, Phone, CSC may work (need to do all at the same time)

For my pit.bin file, just rename it to SIII.pit or something.

This may be the latest version.

bear in mind that increasing the charging rate will shorten the battery life span. you need to make a balance between charging speed or battery life span.

check this xda thread, a lot of international owner had their phone suddenly dead

a lot of them were charging overnight and next morning phone dead, and right before the phone dead they saw LED blinking blue but screen wont turn on regardless of any button pressed. once removed battery then they couldnt turn on the phone anymore.

some of the users saying their phone act weird, slow, lag before the phone dead, did you overcome any of these symptoms?

most of the dead phone were running Jelly bean 4.1.1 or stock based custom rom (like omega wanan or ARHD), but there were also some reported running on ICS or AOSP rom, so it seems not related to rom.
a lot dead phone were actually first batch phone with the sticker stating "Made by Samsung"
do you mind to check where did your phone made from? take off the battery, check whats written on the sticker.

in oversea, there is a guy had a 16GB faulty, and because board out of stock, SC replace him with a 32GB board. he is so lucky

so your phone was the first batch as well? was it running jelly bean 4.1.1? are you charging using original charger?

looking at the first call seems to be first batch but hard to tell, because the problem randomly happened and nobody sure if it only affected first batch.
suspect reason for motherboard issue
# jelly bean (but there were also somebody using ICS or AOSP rom ended up dead)
# overcharge (some phone dead not because of charging)
# original samsung s3 charger (most of the user in XDa claimed that they were using only samsung original s3 charger all the while and ended up with motherboard dead)

stuck at the samsing i9300 logo or the samsung animation?

normal sequence is
i9300 samsung logo out first
then samsung animation out second

my s3 still in operation room lolz

mine would b slower
as i took the safest path
i took the route of sendin to a small samsung service center
for them to send to hq

thanks for the clarification. I am now running CM10, so after samsung logo it will go to CM animation.

my binary status is now cleared to 0, just in case if the phone half brick..
