how long u bought the phone ?

so its the original charger adapter issue? mine is also slow...but not very slow la...just slow.. been using my bb charger..

Do you noticed that battery % drop faster from 100% to around 60% and after that it's slow down?

how slow ? not very slow but slow ? charge from 50% and see how long does it take to get 100%...duhhh

u can try & wait they email u the code. 1st i thought din get it, so i email them & at last i found it at my spam thr.

slow like 40% to 50% need more than 1 hour.. just now i used another adapter. i charging from 40+% to 65% less than half and hour.. see the difference ??

its not in spam mail also...guess the offer is expired...

This few days i encounter problem as batt drop from 100% to 70% in just afew minutes.. then charging rate is super slow.. yesterday i charge my phone from no batt and the phone turn off from 10pm until 9am only 45% charged.. then i check the batt status under setting and it detect the ac charger as usb.. and then i notice got some process i dont know what called GPSD take up until 38%.. searching through google up to no avail.. some said under setting > security > enter ur detail then slide it off.. wth.. some said it was the android remote control setting.. so i figure out that the process is the remote control service.. i enter my samsung acc password and turn it off.. and my batt usage back to normal and the gpsd process dissapear.. about the slow charging i dont know if its a bug or not.. u can check it through batt status menu if it detect as usb or ac.. if it detect ur ac charger as usb, unplug ur charger and replug again until it say charging (ac)..

Phew.. rarely post this long but i hope u guys find this useful.. never happen to me on ics.. now im on jb malaysia stock no root..

if idle with no wifi/ data, not call, no sms and force close some of not use apps 100-60% can last more than 2 days....

But what you need a smartphone then?

Register for warranty? Sometime it takes some time to receive. Wait for 7 days. If nothing receive call samaung and ask. Janji you got receipt is good enough.

Check under batt status if ur phone detect the charger as usb charge or not.. if it is, unplug and replug it until it say charging (ac)

Bb charger quite slow compared to original charger as the output is around 600mAh or 700mAh compared to original charge 1000mAh

i got back my phone from LYP SSC last friday which they changed the mainboard and said my charger had no problem..asked how i know it is new mainboard the lady showed me the old mainboard in the service part box with my phone..that back to home, charge from 11.30pm from 5%.

then 1.20am only 26%


then 4.23am 47%


then 4.46am 48% (what the heck 1% only after 20mins??)


then 5.39am 51%


at that time beh tahan, change to galaxy w charger and can charge full to 100% immediately..

the coming saturday afternoon went to SSC again to show them all these screen shots and they change a new charger..so far after 2 days using can charge very normal..

asked them how if problem again? they answer have to sent in again, if charger problem and still within warranty period can change new charger...if phone problem can only SERVICE but no exchange new one..

I thought GPSD is due to GPS on?

Seem that this few days got alot of ppl have charging problem.. and i tot only me.. had this prob the other day also.. im on charging now.. see if the problem still persist im gonna go and change the charger.. my initial diagnosis is the system detect the ac charger as usb charge.. unplug and replug the charger seem to solve the problem..

At least you phone is almost new again with new MOBO and charger....

i turn off the gps, restart phone, turn off phone and turn back on gpsd is still there and take a lot of juice.. i just turn off the remote control service and a few minutes later its gone.. maybe diff setting but that works for me now..

when i make the screen shot got 1 or 2 time i saw is USB..then sleeping mcc switch off and on again become AC again..then never usb again in screen shot..feel like putih putih kena changed main board! swt!

This morning i woke up got like this.. i was charging on usb mode.. 0 - 45% from 10pm to 9am

when refresh google now, not showing any cards? previously work.
