Hi. Just wanted to know how I can get back USB Mass Storage for my S3. Upgraded from ICS to JB and suddenly found that there is no more UMS and replace by MTP. And MTP doesn't work for me. When I try to install Easy UMS it is only for external SD, but I don't use micro SD only the stock 16GB internal memory. Anyone can help to get back access to UMS for internal memory.

Hey guys... My S3 is acting up lately and i just found this problem yesterday.

A friend tried to call me and when i pick up the phone i cant hear anything and neither my friend could receive anything at his end. Then i kept on trying with other people and its still the same.

It couldnt be the carrier problem since when i tried with my bro's sim card it didnt work as well.

I changed from ARHD 15 to Wanam 4.3 still the same, then i changed back to stock XXDLJ1 malaysian rom thinking it could be the modem, but still no luck.
Also i have not been able to change my CSC using the *272# code for quite some time... i wonder if its anything wrong with the rom or something

Anybody had this problem before?

Currently using the new 4.1.2 leak. Loving the multi window feature and no issue from last night. Just a question, it comes preinstalled with several apps such as New Messaging, what is the function and how does it differ from the existing Messaging we have in the phone?

Another question, was travelling wit a friend who use HTC One X and was kinda impressed when he entered Dock Mode in the phone and the view changes into landscape with several importand details by the side. Thus S3 also have this function/mode that i missed. We do have Driving Mode but that is nothing similar to the HTC Dock Mode i presumed.

Guys, my mobile data disconnected after reception lost (for example went in lift, underground with no reception etc) but it is not reconnect back to mobile data when the i get the signal. 'mobile data' is always on, i can make calls but not connect to data service. I will have to put my phone to flight mode ON then OFF again in order to connect to the data service.

Anyone know why and what to do? I am on stock Jelly bean.

I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S3 AP set from lowyat. But the phone shows internal storage only as 2GB instead of 16 GB. Also the RAM shows total only 500 MB approx instead of 1 GB RAM.
Any idea ? The agents says in AP set its like that. But i dont believe him.

For every events, I get 2 reminders...1 from SPlanner and 1 from email...

After updated to JB.
Its really boosted the speed of UI. This is what i really appreciated/like and recommended.
But problem comes in after few hours using.

1) Received an error when opening SMS. (fixed by factory reset, and installed Go SMS pro)
2) Battery drained fast. - YES so true! JB has the problem. but.. i noticed that battery drained slow at around 60-40%
3) Slow charging? - I only noticed that the charging are slow when i'm not using the samsung s3 packaged charger.  I feel slow when i charge using PC-USB, i feel slow when i am using my friend charger (dunno where he bought from). I feel reasonable speed when i use my own charger. battery do charged 100%
but overall. still worth to upgrade..
