This few days i encounter problem as batt drop from 100% to 70% in just afew minutes.. then charging rate is super slow.. yesterday i charge my phone from no batt and the phone turn off from 10pm until 9am only 45% charged.. then i check the batt status under setting and it detect the ac charger as usb.. and then i notice got some process i dont know what called GPSD take up until 38%.. searching through google up to no avail.. some said under setting > security > enter ur detail then slide it off.. wth.. some said it was the android remote control setting.. so i figure out that the process is the remote control service.. i enter my samsung acc password and turn it off.. and my batt usage back to normal and the gpsd process dissapear.. about the slow charging i dont know if its a bug or not.. u can check it through batt status menu if it detect as usb or ac.. if it detect ur ac charger as usb, unplug ur charger and replug again until it say charging (ac)..

Phew.. rarely post this long but i hope u guys find this useful.. never happen to me on ics.. now im on jb malaysia stock no root..

i got back my phone from LYP SSC last friday which they changed the mainboard and said my charger had no problem..asked how i know it is new mainboard the lady showed me the old mainboard in the service part box with my phone..that back to home, charge from 11.30pm from 5%.

then 1.20am only 26%

then 4.46am 48% (what the heck 1% only after 20mins??)

then 5.39am 51%

at that time beh tahan, change to galaxy w charger and can charge full to 100% immediately..

the coming saturday afternoon went to SSC again to show them all these screen shots and they change a new charger..so far after 2 days using can charge very normal..

asked them how if problem again? they answer have to sent in again, if charger problem and still within warranty period can change new charger...if phone problem can only SERVICE but no exchange new one..   

Wanna check with you guys..how long it take for your phone to fully charge(lets say from 10% to 100%) using USB cable connected to laptop?

On Omega for about 8 hrs so far nothing problem appear. Battery so far ok just consump arround 3%.

idling and sometimes whatsapp and youtube. notice  something now when browsing internet, got a little heat.

Guys. Is my battery usage alright?  From full charge 7am to the battery level now is quite fast. I've turn sync off and brightness inset to auto. Running on stock jelly bean 4.1.1 dlj1.

hey guys. got a question. Can we like disable the function where when we wanted to sort apps into a folder be it home screen or applications screen, when we hold the apps icon, wanted to move the icons to another page, it will auto move around from either left or right page via moving the phone position from left / right.

can we disable the motion control..? manually moving icons to left side of screen or right is much easier then it auto switches page via motion..

You may turn off the phone then charge,I tried on my own phone,let say 20% to 100%,it take me about 2 or 2.5 hours to fully charged.Compare to active while charging about 4-6 hours,I think the article is true,it may due to jelly bean bug/issue.

Btw,I think my phone isn't cracked hairline,I thought it's.

It's the silver part there's colour faded off.Still doubt can claim or not,but I will try.Searched xda forum,they also have problem regarding colour faded off.Just curious if anyone here has ?

What I mean is,power off the phone then charging.

Not sure if this was asked before. Here it goes:

Previously I was using digi, when there is no coverage (maybe dead spot like in the lift) the internet connection will be down as well & when i get my coverage back, the connection reconnects back automatically or when i open an app that requires internet connection the connection will be reconnecting. (able to see the G,E,H or H+ sign)

After switching to maxis, with the same situation, the phone wont auto reconnect nor opening an app does the trick. I had to resort to restart my unit or switch it to airplane mode n switch it back. Then only connection comes back. Its really damn troublesome to do this all the time.

I dont think its the phone nor the setting of phone.

Is there a setting on maxis that I missed out?

Anyone encounter this before?
