Bought at Wangsa Walk's Any Time. Not a branded strap. But I like the patina.

RM150.

J says "Made in Japan" on the dial and K says "Movt Japan"

That's basically it... and generally J models are a little more pricier.

On another note since this thread needs more pictures... I was wondering... How many Seiko's do you guys have?

Here's part of my collection. Still got a couple of it is with my dad since both of us rotating watches to wear hehe

The monster can wait since its a new release... still can't get over how the sumo sits on my wrist.

Since the SKX007 is going to be extinct soon, so just get that first lor... and long term hunt for 6309.

Seiko going to discontinue the SKX007?

some sharing on my watch:
Few years back, I bought this watch 2nd hand when i'm still studying in college coz i'm not affordable for the new 1. The seller wanted to sell the watch because the watch will stop running occasionally although he has changed a new battery. So he decided to sell the watch. I love the blue hands, the chrono design and the condition of the watch is 9/10 so i apporached him. He told me that the date on the warranty card is unfilled so i can fill it myself when i want to send it for warranty. Therefore i've decided to buy it and send for warranty.

Then i brought the watch to Thong Sia and they checked for me. They found that the battery installed by the ex-owner is not the original one. Then they change a new battery for me and it's working. Then i leave the building with the watch. Once i reached the parking, the watch isnt running and i went up to TS again. They asked me to leave the watch so they can check what's the main problem of the watch. After 2 weeks they called me for the collection of the watch. They explained the problem of the watch to me(but i forgot what they said  sweat.gif ).

From the day i brought it back from TS, the watch is serving me well untill today  thumbup.gif

QUOTE(Lurker @ Jul 4 2013, 01:18 PM)
does it make your watch much 'thicker' having the leather straps running below the watch?
*
QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 4 2013, 05:57 PM)
thats why need to find the right leather nato.
most ones u find are thick, but there are a few that are the same thickness as the regular natos.
*
Yes slightly thicker than usual nato strap but still comfortable to wear.

If you're going to Japan, why not get a domestic model that you can't get elsewhere rather than the 007.

Agreed.

sure or not?
if not mistaken, for current production models...cheapest seiko chrono auto starts min rm5k.

I mean for the model that I posted above was a mechanical movement.

Currently I'm looking at this http://yeomanseiko.com/2013/09/22/seiko-5-...ersary-srp409j/

My first impression is that the watch very ah pek look but now the green dial slowly sing to me smile.gif
