For good prices, (if you are a collector and buy once a year or less) just choose one shop that treats you well and get familiar with them. Style Watch in Mid Valley LG is my first stop for watches because of that now :-D

I think the "MAR" day might be because you got the Japanese version of the watch - so the day display will show both Japanese and English days. Are all the other days fine or do they have other weird days included?

Anyway, if you set it correctly, the "alternate" day will only show up for a few hours around 11PM-2AM.

Most of the Premier designs don't appeal to me (and obviously to most other people). The few that make me look twice have price tags that make me think "add a few bucks and get a MM300".

I have the wrists of an undernourished Ethiopian 5 year old also and most watches look fine. I think it helps "a bit" that my wrists are more flat than rounded (helps the watch sit better and the lug overhang of larger watches isn't so apparent).

Which AD did you get it from? I've been asking everywhere I pass by and called up a few places but nobody seems to be able to get it. Looking for the white version (that is the original Laurel colour anyway).

Yeah... I started calling the City branches (dunno why didn't think of Hang Thai) when they announced the Laurel homage. Most of the branches never call back. The rest of them say not available in KL yet and will call me when it arrives. The guy from Hang Thai I spoke to yesterday said he'll try to source but it'll probably be premium because out of stock and limited edition.

Nah... looking for the original white like the Laurel. If can't get then it's not meant to be (save money!!!).

Find a colour you like first... don't just jump straight for what has been posted here. The SNZG/SNK series comes in 9000 different colours (ok not so many but you get the point). I went with the SNZG07 because of it's "unique" cream face - can't go for black/white face every time right?

You can search Lelong for "Watch Tool" or "Watch Strap Tool". At least I think that's what you're looking for.

But at the same time, don't assume if you change to sapphire that you can go street fighter and have no problems. Actually, probably no problem street fighting but if you see a diamond ring then run away.

They can only check availability for you. I don't think they actually do the replacement. Last time I checked, they had to send the watch back to Thong Sia for replacement sapphire. (Maybe I went to lousy shop)

The white ones have been sold out in KL for a long time already... been looking but no luck

Sounds like team Tuna... seems like they don't exist in Malaysia.
