Just asking.. Anyone mod their Seiko 5? Mine is 7S26, so mechanical wise is a NO NO for mods, but how about the dial, the case, the lume, strap, anything..

I know leather or Nato strap can be found, but other than that, seems impossible.. Can teach or share?

Thanks.

Hello Seiko lovers.. I am interested to mod my old Seiko 5.. Like change crystal, relume the dial, polish the case and change to leather strap.. Any suggestion on who's good in this job??

Let say, this watch is my first poison, so I want to cherish it..

Can somebody please list out the must have, iconic, desirable, and collectable Seiko by model number. Put in dis-continued models as well.  tongue.gif

Divers is just too tempting for Seiko fag, including me.. tongue.gif tongue.gif

TBH, when I happen to passby watch shop, first thing to look for is Seiko diver series.. Other than that, nope.. Not interested..

Even if passby Omega or Rollies, still diver's series.. Other than that, not interested.. LOL XD icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

anyone here can recommend a watch guy who isnt afraid of doing mods?
basically replacing crystal etc and doing pressure test.

already asked a few established 'watch repairer' shops here...and they are reluctant of handling non-original parts.

i am finding one myself.. currently, my beat-up Seiko 5 need some TLC..
